which one is passion? ((they both fucking suck btw)))
Both play like dogshit. We've played good metroidvania and we aren't going back: it's called Bloodborne.
>one has one sword and one spell
>the other has multiple weapons and spells with different stats, effects, techniques and animations
why again is hollowshill so liked?
>>one has one sword and one spell
Is that really true?
That's a Soulsborne though
You only have the one weapon, but it can be upgraded. There are three spells, each of which can be upgraded once, as well as a few movement options that you unlock along the way. There are a bunch of charms and charm combinations that can change the way you play in a significant way. Don't listen to that guy, it sounds like he gave up at the casual filter.
Check Axiom Verge.
Charms barely change the gameplay compared to stuff you can do in normal igavanias
Souls are literally just 3D Metroidvanias.
