Brody Roberts
Sebastian Bennett
>page 6
holy shit OP that's an incredibly forgotten game
Benjamin Brooks
It was very good for a month.
Caleb Rivera
it did its job i had fun with it while i waited for smash and shiting on that other game
Adam Reyes
i miss this game and it's threads
Jackson Martin
esports ready
Luis Mitchell
NEVER FORGET THE $6 MILLION
Tyler Lopez
it was fun and the jenny lewds were nice
Camden Gray
don't remind me. I have friends who actually spent money on this game. what a dumpster fire
Noah Reed
Noah Miller
RIP
i'm glad the game was able to save Ludosity from bankruptcy
Jace Martinez
>first trailer was panned
>released to negative reviews and abysmal player count
>was only playable in america
>wavedash laid off majority of staff only 3 months after release
>promised to release a "definitive" version of the game
>this still hasn't happened and the game is unlisted on steam
>the site for wavedash games is expired
>$6 million
Wyatt Barnes
Samuel Parker
DEATH AND PINBALL UNITED
ONLY PAIN WILL EARN YOU THE WEEKLY HIGH-SCORE
EVERYONE IS INVITED
TO A PLACE OF MAGIC AND BROKEN BONES~
Parker Jackson
>tfw I actually wanted it to last more just to keep laughing at their failures
Leo Taylor
Slap Ball was an awesome game-mode and I regret trashing people at it so hard that they dismissed it forever
Levi Cook
It's forgotten?
Grayson Lopez
>90% of the characters are straight rip offs
>they end up being worse and less fun to play than they characters they ripped off
>game is horribly floaty and online lags way too much
>art design is all over the place and tranny inspired bullshit
>microtransactions right out of the fucking gate, for characters no less, in an unreleased state
I WONDER WHY IT FAILED!
Someone give me $6m and I'll show you how to do a fucking smash ripoff.
Nolan Gomez
>44 players in game
its dead
Jordan Wood
From what I heard the development costs are cheap as fuck and they make a lot of money in return, it just doesn't have that big of a playerbase.
Hudson Jones
>PM died
>for this
Jackson Nguyen
But it just had a sale
Luke Wright
>nerf characters to appeal to e-celebs who dont even play the game
i want the old fish back
i want the old remedy back
i want the old casual business back
Caleb Torres
Dylan Garcia
I checked up on it around a year ago because I remembered how hard it had been shilled on vee and hadn't heard anything about it for ages.
>game no longer being sold
>site is down
>company fired literally everybody
Isaac Hernandez
how the fuck do I find people stupid enough to invest millions into an obviously DoA game to invest in my business that will actually have some return instead of a game
Benjamin Rodriguez
I know they have been nerfing fish literally every patch since it launched on steam but what did they do too BCM?
Gavin Cooper
Hudson Hill
Of all the games posted in this thread at least this one was fun for a day or so. It had no staying power, obviously, but it was fun to pick up for a Saturday.
Carter Morgan
>just doesn't have that big of a playerbase
A cursory glance at Steam stats shows it's averaging around 17,000. That's not bad. It's dropping compared to the 20k/30k it was last year, but still being in the tens of thousands in the wake of battle royales is still pretty good. It probably helps it's also on every platform too.
Xavier Turner
his upthrow used to have set knockback (like every other character IIRC) but they changed it because he could combo off it
i guess it was unbalanced but so was everything else at time, i had assumed the game followed the philosophy of "make everything broke so nothing is"
Justin Ortiz
>Killed it to get on the ASSFAGGOTS trend
>That died too and they desperately tried to get what they could out of it
>Asked people to download a bitcoin miner for skins or whatever in-game rewards they offered
Fuck them. I had so much fun in the original MNC and it's a shame they handled it like a $2 whore.
Easton Peterson
>forgotten game
>nonexistent game
Owen Turner
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't this the first stand-alone (that is, it wasn't mod like dota) Moba? Like, Lol came out a few months after.
To be honest I am not even sure if it's moba, I have never seen the gameplay of Demigod.
Easton Perry
I got really invested in it. I really like mobas with long time-to-kills but they're an endangered breed.
Adrian Cooper
>promised to release a "definitive" version of the game
>this still hasn't happened and the game is unlisted on steam
in their defense, apparently the definitive version exists and Steam just doesn't like the idea of a F2P game costing money
Andrew Cox
The little goblin wizard was fun to play.
Adam Bailey
which ones are trannies since this is basically overwatch smash
Dominic Garcia
Apparently it's done quite well on consoles, despite Steam numbers slowly dropping. Guess a free, competent shooter is an easy sell on virtual shops.
Noah Wood
>easy sell on virtual shops
Well it is free-ish.
Colton Bell
I miss this game. It was fun to play.
John Perez
>tfw no longer able to play Beckett and Aisling
Still kinda hurts, even if shutdown was inevitable.
Juan Mitchell
I miss the memes for this game, they were wholesome fucking threads
Dylan Wood
I kept thinking this was called Snap City because of /fit/.
Hudson Kelly
rip frog nigga and tyto.
still mad
also this game getting pincered by red red 2 and smash brothers killed it also why is there no porn of toxic, they're more porn of the fucking gator
Camden Ortiz
Chase Mitchell
Ka-BOOM
Jack Cooper
>Iji content is added
>Game is dead
Why fucking live?
Asher Edwards
Josiah Miller
Do you think Slap City will ever be released on consoles, or at least reach version 1.0 on PC?
Ryan Turner
Asha is just so obnoxious to play against with his Xbox Hueg disjoints
James Clark
What console? The best bet would be switch and I dunno who would want it with smash on the same system. 1.0 though probably right? The game is still patching.
Lincoln Walker
It's so forgotten that I've never even heard of this game.
Carter Cook
If they allowed you to host your own server and direct join, it would still be alive and well today. This is why modern multiplayer is trash.
Ethan Garcia
>What console?
PS4/One? Both are just crippled PCs, so porting the game would be easier, and since neither have a decent Smash clone it would make the game look more attractive in their stores.
Ian Butler
I had fun and I want more
Charles Ortiz
It was a magical summer
Ryan Diaz
Ethan Phillips
I miss it bros.. I miss it every day.
Cooper Brown
>playing EA games
You deserve to suffer.
Camden Moore
remember me?
Tyler Perry
1.0 is after adventure mode is done right? I hope if it does come to console it will have crossplay, Switch would be good if it can maintain 60 FPS. I wonder if Slap will do free weekends to get people to try it, I would like to see SC show up at tournaments at least as often as RoA.
Michael Lee
it hurts bros
Mason Hughes
I miss it. Such good OC too
Justin Cruz
Nobody hates EA more than the people who liked that game, user.
Ethan Roberts
You should have already known to avoid EA's games by that point by the examples of Pandemic, Origin and Bullfrog.
Jack Clark
I thought that was a cool game. Had kind of a Ratchet and Clank vibe to it.
Michael Parker
Nathaniel Thomas
correct
Dominic Cruz
I was suffering mordhau earlier and the Dystopia steam group sent a message out to play
sadness followed
Ryder Lewis
people still play it but not as much at release
Ethan Thomas
Tell autists it will be like melee
Nolan Moore
This hurt, but they fucked up straight out the door by being a windows 10 store exclusive.
After that it was obvious they couldn't manage for shit.
Horrible waste of actually good graphical aesthetics and character designs.
