Worst area is and always will be the Gerudo Highlands.

i actually really like that area, though one thing i don't get is the first playthough it thunderstormed and never let up the entire time trying to go through to Zora's Domain but on subsequent playthroughs it was intermittent.

did they patch it to be easier? i thought it was quite clever to constantly be aware of lightning strikes and use them to your advantage.

The worst area was the grassy field area

Dunno about patches, but on my playthroughs it rained and occasionally thundered all the time on the path to the Domain, until the Beast is taken down. It's clearly an intended effec.

The elephant was causing the storm ya dingus

>Zora area
A mess of bridges interlinked, zero actual Zora civilization that we should see
>Gerudo highlands
Literally empty besides maybe a dozen shrines
>Volcano
Boring Black rock and lava everywhere. Also forced to wear the worst armor set in the game.
BEST
Rito Village/ Great cliffs/ gerudo town/ Tumlea heights/ akalla region/ central Hyrule/ Hyrule castle/ lost woods.

The entire fucking south east of the map

Nothing but sheer cliffs and night constant rain and thunderstorms, which a balls ton of random rivers with chests hidden in them to stime progress.

Reading comprehension: it was subsequent playthroughs meaning entirely new save files.

this guy doesn't know you can stop the storms and fight giant thunder dragons xD

Every area is great, except the lost woods. I never figured out how to traverse it properly and you have shitty trials, including the game's only real stealth mission.

It was fun the first few times, but on repeat playthroughs I just let the old sword rip in peace.

I'd say there is no bad area but my least favorite is the lava place where the gorons are

Attached: 3456733.jpg (125x94, 2K)

Death Mountain was the worst area

Gerudo Highlands was the worst, fuck that area.

im kind of craving this game again, is a master mode playthrough worth it? I haven't played the DLC yet.

Gerudo Highlands for me, hated that area. The open plains areas too.

>horrible modded armor
>complete global saturation
>shit taste

Why are cemufags such fags?

Are you me? Decided to continue my old save last night and I was wondering if a new playthrough in Master would be a better idea.

>Gerudo Highlands

Best city
Best dungeon
Best side-dungeon
Finally getting some mileage out of your cooking skills
Seals
*Molduga phase 2 music intensifies*

Yes. Though if you're playing CEMU you should mod out monster regen. Bosses get back a third of their healthbar during invulnerability states.

Was a major cringe in the fact the Rito and Zora were on the same map.

Attached: 1362020240520.png (457x449, 234K)

>I never figured out how to traverse it properly
You light up a torch to see where the wind is blowing and you follow that direction. That's it.

>Rito
>akkala
Boy, I sure do love cliffs and lightning

Really? I just randomly ran through it and got it on my second try.

The game gives you hints.

>Start up master mode
>moblins are the same just with more health
>Lynel on the mesa
Fuck that I wanted better AI not artificial difficulty.

Worst area by far is the Death Mountain region
>forced to wear stupid armor OR go through the rigamarole of making a potion
>barren and fiery
>Worst version of the Gorons to date
>small, pitiful town with next to nothing to do
At least the snow areas are comfy and have the occasional log cabin.

That weapon looks like it is about to break

Wasteland =/= Highlands

you can also just look at the little light particles floating around everywhere, or anything on link that reacts to wind, including his hair

That's not Death Mountain.

Really hope BOTW 2 Hyrule isn't identical landscape. It's looking like it, but I'm holding out hope that Link and Zelda end up in a different world.

No, it’s the best.

Akkala is the comfiest region

Attached: akkala.jpg (1280x720, 176K)

I'd rather save myself for BOTW2 desu, they'll be reusing the world

BotW2 doesn't have a release date, tho. user has plenty of time to do a full playthrough and forget about it before the second game comes out.

Yeah, a lot of big empty/vertical space. Its difficult to traverse and there's not much there worth exploring.

Death Mountain and Gerudo Highlands are worse as others have said, but Zora's Domain was pretty bad too.

Personally, as much as I love the orange palette, Akkala is bottom for me just because of how much wasted potential the Fortress has. Seeing it in the distance and slowly getting towards it had me thinking of all the cool things it could have been; we could have got a world integrated dungeon like Hyrule Castle, with hints to the last stand that took place 100 years ago, maybe with diary entries telling how hopeless the situation was and their fear as their defences finally gave out. There could even have been rooms with the tower bursting through the ground and ceiling as it rose up at the beginning of the game, maybe stopping you from accessing certain parts unless you go in the right way.

It's a shame since Akkala actually has a lot of variety in it, but the Citadel being just another wall to climb really pissed me off.

fpbp, there's literally nothing to do there.
Zora's Domain was prettycomfy after beating the divine beast. I was kind of annoyed because I kept wondering where the hell do all of them sleep/live/keep their possessions?
For me it just rained, I guess you were unlucky with the thunderstorms. Pic related, taken few days after release.

>tfw played on Cemu with the always sunny option on

>Is this the worst area in BoTW?
No, evertide isle takes that award

You might as well go Master Mode, but honestly once you get a few hearts that keep you from getting one-shotted, it just feels like regular mode again. Lynels can still easily be dodged and bosses still all die piss easy.
Then there's Trial of the Sword which is borderline impossible with the health regen.

I'm pretty sure you only need one piece of equipment to resist the heat. I remember only wearing the boots whenever I returned there.

Just finished up the champions ballad on master mode. While it can be a pain in the ass on occasion it's still a blast to play, especially if you haven't picked up the game in a while. The fun of master mode comes in the creative ways you can come up with to kill enemies. Go for it user only you can decide if it is right for you.

Death Mountain for me. Goron City is neat but the region sucks.

Zoras sleep in the water. You can find them sleeping in little communal pools at night.

There’s also a mysterious unused human bed near Ruta.

The worst area is the section of cliffs and rock mountains between the snowfields and Akkala, near the edge of the map. There is almost nothing there except a few lynels and bokoblin camps and it stretches in a narrow path across the top for like half of the world map.

Follow the wildlife.

>the fisherman village and jungle are the best area but also completely optional and can easily be missed
what did they mean by this ? I learned about it while reading the artbook

Attached: THE LEGEND OF ZELDA BREATH OF THE WILD - MASTER WORKS - ARTBOOK-327.png (1228x1730, 2.81M)

You know what. I think you’re right. Still, not my favorite.

Given how they are likely adding massive underground sections, parts of the map will be floating and if we get a proper dark resurrection/malice burst from the big G, the maps will probably be distinct enough.

>you will never chase for bugs in Akkala to upgrade your armor again
I want to go back but I know the game too well

I kinda like that. Was really shocked that I still found another village after activating all the towers and exploring most of the world.

BotW is actually a pretty comfy ass game now that I think about it. There's tons of comfy areas in that game. I'm just playing it now, third playthrough but the other two I never finished the game. I'm having a ton of fun with it on this playthrough though as I'm just exploring around and going to what looks interesting. Haven't even done one Divine Beast yet and I'm like 30 hours in.

>emulating spics are casuals
No surprise there

>That Gerudo who just hangs out there and complains about the rain
so damn cozy

I like gorons in this game. Death Mountain area has a perfect feel fo a death mountain but it's not very fun at all.
It really needed more stuff to do, I wish ther ewas a circlet-like headpiece that would grant flame guard, perhaps unlocked after beating the Divine Beast. Could have been made viable by making higher levels of the ugly armor have higher defense than it. The village itself is kind of barren, too. I only ever returned to it when I wanted to trade gems with the Gerudo chick. Entire mountain desperately needed random goron houses thrown around, caves and MORE ore.
I wish the damn bugs and lizards weren't so hard to find and catch so you could more easily make potions.

That is by far the best part of the game, for everything else I had to push myself into doing it.

That was my favorite area.

>Lava? No problem; I've got cold elixirs!
>Why is my everything on fire

Attached: Burning.jpg (1280x720, 124K)

>tfw starting to play older games
>having a ton of fun playing vidya again
>SMT Nocturne, Ace Combat 0 and such
>BotW Sequel trailer drops
>"shit, I should really finish Breath of the Wild, I can easily rotate in the game while still playing Nocturne and AC0"
>start up the game
>get addicted to it and completely neglect the other games I was playing through

Attached: file.png (299x168, 26K)

Why the fuck does this looks so washed out?! Same with the sequel

You know, even if you switch to metal gear that doesn't burn, the metal would still get hot enough to burn you and thus should still hurt.

It's kind of dumb that they sleep in the water because where the hell do they keep their stuff? Are they commies? That would explain why Mipha and Sidon are red.

Have translated version too, if someone wants to read but can't into moonrunes.

Attached: MW-331.jpg (1440x1920, 1.13M)

>everybody hating in Gerudo highlands
It's like you guys don't enjoy hunting Lynel and clearing the map from them every single blood moon.

lizards are easy to catch with good stealth armor, otherwise they run away.
I found the circlets to be useless in comparison to normal armor that get bonuses.

What's the appeal of Lurelin? I was so disappointed that it wasn't a cool monster village like the rito or ruto.

comfy time away from your responsabilities as a hero

Dude, there were so many white lizalfos around that area. How did they survive all this time?

>Photo's taken seconds before disaster.

It's comfy. If BotW 2 doesn't have fishing it'll be a shit game.

Attached: file.png (1280x720, 1.38M)

Hebra Mountains near the Rito area

the constant thunderstorms actually made that gauntlet run through the moutains to zora's domain *better* as it felt incredibly unique to the game to the same extent that pitch black area was like.

was awesome knowing to not use metal weapons and if i did to pick them up and throw them before lightning struck, was quite an exhilarating part of the game that i was disappointed to find was not there the following times.

I hope they optimise the game better now that it's on Switch only and expand the villages.
Since Ganon is gone there's no reason to hole up as much, at least put random houses with people living around and farms. Like there was Selmie snowboarding in the mountains and that guy with bowling. They don't even need to have their own mingames, just populate the world more now.

Attached: MW-305.jpg (1440x1920, 1.08M)

My hope is that in the time since they defeated Calamity Ganon the Hylians and other races have started rebuilding and villages have expanded and there have been built a lot of new structures around.

>expand the villages
>implying we're not going to 100years notTermina this time

Rito Village had the best music

Eh, I mostly used circlets my first play through since I wanted to go for gerudo first and they're... serviceable. Diamond is the most obviously useful since none of the headpieces that match its defense stats is part of a bonus set and has the added benefit of reducing guardian damage, but I prefer to use the topaz earrings instead of that dumb fish helmet.
The real kicker to them though it's they have a hidden 20% damage buff on guardian weapons. I wish each one did that for their respective element instead of just guardian weapons, but it's something

Hopes for areas in BotW?
>Huge underground area where most of the game is focused
>Enormous Zonai ruined city all underground, really fucking huge
>One small underground village made up of a new race descended from the Zonai who have made up their own tribal legend of "The Legend of Zelda" and Link

Are you high? It's the best one of the game. Top tier geology. Top tier architecture. Top tier lore. In fact, this area smells so much Monolith Soft, I bet Nintendo gave them free reign to do whatever they wanted on this one. And it shows.

Attached: 1545090052567.jpg (500x500, 150K)

Revali's Gale + Teleporting horse armor makes the first trek to Zora's Domain a fucking cakewalk.

You mean one of the best areas?
>Game strongly encourages taking a set route to get to Zora's Domain, but you're still free to explore it in other ways if you get creative
>One of the few areas in the game where enemies can pose a decent challenge outside of the starting area thanks to the rain + electrical attack combo
>Least generic landscape in the game
It puts most other areas of the game to shame. It's good shit.

Attached: uNF.jpg (640x960, 115K)

>Least generic landscape in the game
that's not kino jungle

Theres like one Lynel in Gerudo Highlands though, Hebra is the one that is stocked full of them

How do (we) feel about the Rito?

Subrosians or we riot

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 62K)

That is literally how every other "master" mode has been in zelda.

gib me a fuller desert, I loved being too cold by night and too hot by day

Why does everyone hate gerudo highlands? I though it was cool having a snow landscape that isn't in s blizzard 24/7 for a change

The rainy approach to Zora domain was absolutely kino

>Hopes for areas in BotW?
Twilight realm. Give me a cute nu-Midna follower

What''s the name of that area that's just a valley with cliffs on every side and a bunch of thicc trees? I feel down there during my No Fasttravel run and oh my fucking god was it dull. Plus there's also a Lynel down there becaue fuck you.

Giant underground world like this

Attached: moria1.jpg (1920x1412, 925K)

>A generic jungle isn't generic

That place is great for farming arrows

No idea, I just remember the Lynels and that there's s giant horse there

Attached: undermountain-maps.jpg (688x1000, 329K)

It had a bunch of Mayan ruins, which means they were right about the end of the world in at least one universe.

flying ruins and/or Hyrule Castle floating in the sky

Attached: Hyrule_Temple_SSBM.png (640x480, 581K)

How do I kill Lynels? I always run from them.

clearing the castle thingy in Akkala was one of my favourite parts of BoTW

Attached: underdark-map.jpg (1496x1496, 917K)

I liked Gerudo Highlands way more than Hebra.
Hebra was a pain in the ass to traverse sometimes, sure you could go sanic fast in the way down by snowboarding, but going up? No thanks, I didn't dislike the area tho

hit them with your sword and shoot arrows at their heads

>tfw thought you had to inflate and follow an octoballoon
>it didn't work, you had to use the torch
gay

Cheese: Flurry rush or shield parry
Like a man: Mount him and slap his ass with your sword

No, it's death mountain all over again. I want to play the second DLC and can't bother to do DM again

>I'm pretty sure you only need one piece of equipment to resist the heat
For the entire Goron stuff you need 2 piece of equipment.
I recently got back into the game and trying to help Yonbu shoot the Divine beast with one heat resistant piece of equipment resulted in link constantly catching fire.

One piece and beat heat but near actual lava will need two
You can also use one piece or a heat potion

Thanks, I'll try mounting them

I love Zora’s Domain! That’s where my wife is

>Doesn't just toss bombs into the water and collects the fish that floats up.

I just want them to get real weird. Let Monolith go wild on the environmental design like they do in the Xenoblade games.

Attached: sylvalum.jpg (1280x720, 82K)

Which one had that shrine covered by icy water that you had to cut down a tree and ride a log down the stream to get to? That was one of my absolute favorite moments of the entire game.

Attached: link_snow-2060x1159.png (2060x1159, 3.08M)

That's Hebra. I just tanked the cold water.

I just side climbed into that area and dropped down on the shrine

>tfw followed special looking trees and got to the end thanks to that
And now you're saying it's the wind

Attached: 1548425387163.png (311x355, 72K)

I just finished getting all the shrines, I was really surprised with the amount of places I had never explored, like these little interconnected pillar islands on the coast

Attached: Screenshot (421).png (477x594, 340K)

Ah, of course. I was wondering why all the cities in BOTW reminded me of Saihate VIllage so much. Nintendo hired those guys.

Attached: 523c1882e279c2d90289950db5cfbda5.jpg (1920x1080, 424K)

No it’s pretty great but it’s the area most negatively affected by the “you can climb everything” gimmick. It means they had to instate the perma-rain on your first visit which just made traversal limited and annoying, and it also made cool upgrades like the zora suit’s ability ti climb waterfalls way less impactful and cool.
Hopefully the sequel limits climbable surfaces a lot, such as sheer cliffs, so they can design a zone like this without a bunch of forced-in limiters.

I just followed the trees with faces

>I just want them to get real weird
same, even if I know it's unlikely for us to get full dark world I can't help but hope

Were you following the trees with the metal balls in their mouth? That could explain it as it’s part of the korok trials

That didn't work when I did it. On the plus side I was able to ride the log out of there and enjoy the scenery.

Attached: 16_08.jpg (444x250, 29K)

Hard to tell.

The always Autumn land was garbage too, it was empty as fuck. At least the zora domains had a lot of things to do and the area wasn't a barren wasteland and took a modicum of creativity to create it.

I was joking. You'll die. Just bring many shields and healing.

Attached: Fernand_Khnopff_002.jpg (1280x411, 233K)

I just looked what tree had a face looking at me, ran to it, looked for the next one, ran to that, etc. and got to the end. I did see the metal balls that some of them had but I didn't really pay any attention to them until afterwards when I did the trial.

use stasis
wack him with your strongest weapons
wait for stasis to recharge
repeat

Just angage them, I think trying to dosge their arrows is far worse than go in a melee encounter, of course the crusher lynel is the hardest, at least start with a sword or spear lynel.
>Try to start the fight by mounting them, basically free hits that will not damage your weapons
>Hit them with arrows in the face, when they are stunned you can always mount them, thus mlre hits and your weapons last a lot longer
>You can even mount them by flying over them even if they are not stunned
>All their attacks can be parried
>Try using more damaging weapons and armors, barbarian set sith elixirs will make the fight a lot shorter
>Remember you can cancel any attack you do by jumping, so if you are doing a longsword or club charged attack you can cancel them any time this way instead of using that slow finishing hit

Attached: sTqR6YV.jpg (1091x759, 97K)

Zoras Domain is a garbage area. Why the fuck are fish people living on gigantic platforms above the sea? The best Zora areas was the domain in Majora's Mask.

>do the gerudo thunder thing
>bring a big sword and start spining
>one he's not stunned anymore stop spining and stun him again
>repeat
he'll be dead before you run out of thunder

>stasis
The enemy only stays frozen for 0.25 seconds, it's not very useful

You're the dumbest guy in the thread kek

How do I deal with spastic guardians?

Attached: Sniperfags BTFO.webm (640x360, 2.88M)

O-oh, thanks

Are you dumb? Learn to read, the game literally told you to use fire and follow the sparks direction. How stupid can you be?

Can I get some neat BoTW webms?

Molduga has 2 phases? How do you activate it?

Attached: Attack Platform 2.webm (768x432, 2.97M)

For some rason it was the last place I visited on my first run and the feeling when the music started was incredible. Add super comfy atmospere and it ended up where I spent most of my time preparing for my post-game adventures
I feel such a sprawling system would be too hard to map or even navigate for a casual player. Is there a single game that has the feel Moria has?

I'll just list hopes and wishes for sequel that I can think of now:
>more populated and rebuilt Hyrule
>bring back Minish they scrapped late into development
>rework durability and armor values
>make all armor upgradeable, even if the values aren't much
>more enemy variety
>more animal variety, more rideable animals (that can be registered), make animals more common to see
>make bugs and lizards easier to catch/make them disappear less quickly after spotting you
>expand on things to do in certain regions
>caves and underwater exploration
>better dungeons (at least more visually interesting), add optional dungeon(s)
>BotW NPCs and dragons coming back
>bigger stash for showing off weapons and shields
>being able to set up camp
>sleeping granting some sort of bonus other/on top of +stamina/+HP
>more minigames
>infinite weapon durability/arrows during minigames
>balance food so you can't stuff your face with 40 apples (system similar to BloodBorne where over certain amount the items would be go to your stash could work but for example if you want to craft or sell you could sell from stash too)
>more variety to korok puzzles (it's obviously gonna have something similar again)
>ability to change how the quiver (arrow pouch) and glider look like (different skins)
>more challenges like Eventide, dark forest and Lost Woods
>pet animals
I'll be happy if they just fix the most obvious issues (ones even they acknowledge like durability and dungeons) because I have so many hours in BotW I feel it would be worth it. Only way I'm not getting it is if they seriously fuck up

Attached: MW-308-309.jpg (2880x1920, 2.24M)

Whats a twilight bow? :0

>I feel such a sprawling system would be too hard to map or even navigate for a casual player. Is there a single game that has the feel Moria has?

Just go to those catacombs in France where people get lost and die. No need to make a video game of something you can just do IRL.

enough time to get so much damage he gets stunned for a second
i killed my first lynel yesterday and it was the one at the zoras, and it was easier as expected

Specs? I own a switch but a friend of mine doesn't, maybe he can emulate it

Learn to parry the laser shots back into their faces. normally three parries will take one out.

The trick is to parry the second the sound effect plays if not a half second before.

Attached: Attack Platform.webm (640x360, 2.94M)

once you get the timing down for the quicktime stuff its juts a matter of your weapons lasting long enough

I did what you're doing on my first playthrough, as the dev intended for me to play the game.

Why do people rush to finish games? Just have fun.

Id like it to involve Link and Zelda going back to the past to try and stop the real ganon before the great calamity.
I would like 9 proper dungeons
Maybe we could revisit the Shadow temple hidden underneath kakariko village.
I’d like more caves and ruins less sheika shrines/structures. More town variety

Any area will make me happy, just want more content. I felt sad when I discovered everything in BOTW

Hit them until they die.

I just flew into it.

Ur weird.

>discover Hatelia map
>first thing I notice are those islands beyond the map's location
>go there right away

I'd hit it all right :^)

Boring way to play, have fun.

I'm already tired of cooking. Now i just cook up Big Raddishes or Hearty Durians one at a time.

So is being able to bullet time the power of the triforce of courage? Is that what it's been letting the Links do all this time?

Nope.

No courage this time.

BotW link is canonically incradibly OP.
He somehow obtained the Master Sword as a kid, is able to use legendary weapons of Rito and Goron tribes that can only be used by the strongest of the strong (Revali was the only one in Rito tribe who could use his bow and similar deal goes for Daruk)
He can alos beat Ganon in his underpants with literally anything in his hands while other Links needed the Master Sword.
I am pretty sure Zelda herself is the holder of all three aspects of the Triforce in BotW even though I'm unsure how.
Watch BsoD gaming's video on how to set it up. I barely ran it at 720p 20fps before tinkering with the settings and plugins. I have shitty gen 4 Intel i5 procesor, shitty mismatched 12GB of DDR3 RAM, 1060 6GB and it runs 1080p 50-60fps now (but I keep it locked to 30 to avoid the stutters because I can't hold stable 60)

I did reference his materials (FPS++ graphics pack, disable high framerate for actors far away etc.) but this was quite a while ago. I'm picky and I don't like running games at 30fps so I'll just wait for another major emulator update/new cpu.

>He somehow obtained the Master Sword as a kid
OoT and WW Link did it too

OoT Link couldn't handle Master Sword until he was adult and that's why he's only allowed to use it in adult form. You're right about WW Link, and isn't TP Link pretty young too?

I should have elaborated on that, they did it beacause their quest led them there, as far as we know BotW Link just stumbled there somehow and obtained it before the calamity was a big deal?
Really strange that it doesn't work for you since your PC is much better than mine. Then again, I think CEMU doesn't like to run on AMD hardware that well. It sucks, I hope Cemu devs fix it so you cna enjoy the game.

They've got great performance for the price. You can't go wrong with AMD. Plus they aren't kikes like Intel

>bombs
Never thought of this. I fished with arrows or shock arrows

Honestly I'm just really picky. I can get 50-60fps in open areas and 30-40ish in towns, which is playable. It's just the stutter that kills the experience for me. Worth mentioning I've played many many hours and I've done 3 divine beasts already so it's not like it was unplayable.

Ryzen is pretty good. The new 3000 series is about to launch in July and it looks to be a significant jump up from before.

Why do threads have to start with somebody saying something obviously and blatantly wrong?

Attached: 1559155720346.jpg (1200x675, 42K)

Based on what we see in the trailer for BotW 2, what we kill in BotW 1 isn't even the real Ganondorf, it was just a puppet ganon.

Attached: zelda.jpg (1596x715, 148K)

>Can't buy a house in Tarrey town
Fucking travesty

Yea Forums is a brainlet board

Not necessarily a puppet. It's still Ganon, it's just his subconscious hatred manifesting itself physically.

Because it won't get any replies if the OP text isn't bait.

>Try to Tao Pai Pai
>Never fucking works
>End up cutting down the entire forest and burning through all of my healing items

>No courage this time.
If he's a descendant of the hero of time then shouldn't he have it from birth like TP link did?

The first 5 hours or so, Plateau to Zora's, is fucking fantastic, then the rest of the game just plummets in enjoyment when you realize there is no content.

Does anyone else here just absolutely shit on Lynels? If it’s a straight fight, I can take Guardians and Lynels just fine, even if I have no Ancient Arrows or Bomb Arrows, but if I fight a Mobiln and bunch of Bokos and a Lizal if I don’t slam the fucks with bombs I will die

Pic unrelated

Attached: 4A2EA508-2430-48C9-A1BB-E0F8E5288AE7.gif (472x266, 985K)

But that's one of the better places.

btw I never used revali's gale as that shit is op as fuck as it lets you skip everything like flying in world of warcraft.
I did the zora area first so I didn't have that but even if I did I wouldn't have used it.

bows shit all over guardians and lynels so hard to the point that they become joke enemies if engaged one at a time. You can't perma-stun a group of smaller enemies without doing stuff like lightning so those are going to be a much bigger threat

It is the only way to fight guardians

>Parry the blasts and use stasis to close distance
>Rip off the legs one by one
>Once it’s immobilized, fire arrows into its eye

He still beat a being of pure evil, that's plenty impressive.

Which random NPC is your wife?

>do a flip!

... You can really do some stupid shit in this game if you try hard enough, jesus.

it arr rook shame

Check out some speedrun strats, shield surfing, stasis and attack cancelling break the game completely.

>he didn't visit the tingle islands immediately

>They patched out the shield surf onto bomb tech

I am livid

Im gonna says every dungeon and the starting zone and the climbing tower.

BoTW was my first Zelda game :(

>BotW 2
>Dark World where Corpsenando is residing
>Zoras get replaced by an amalgam of Ocean and River Zora deisgns
>Gorons get replaced by Subrosians
>Koroks get replaced by Deku
>Local Gerudo are all pirates again
>nigga who tf cares about rito lmao
>Guardians replaced by flesh-made monstrosities
>Darknuts wander the map and attack anything they encounter, usually winning

>There are people who didn’t go to the Island as soon as they knew it existed

Fucking why
Are you going to tell me next that you didn’t carry a Korok leaf with you at all times so you could blow unsuspecting Bokoblins off cliffs?

I slowly killed the Hinox with bombs.

Oh shit. Is the whole book already translated??

yeah and its always fucking gay

I was hoping for something more like this

My favorite way to fight guardians is to take my 5 speed horse, rush at them full speed, poking away with a spear.

Eldin is pretty bad, because you're more or less forced to wear the "dont catch on fire" armor, you can't bike around, and the Gorons are worthless.

What's the worst part of the game and why is it farming upgrade materials from the dragons?

>1 part per attempt
>constant waiting for them to appear
>some clothes could need 3+ days of attempts to upgrade

Something you can get from the Smash Bros Zelda amiibo. The bow of Light from Twilight Princess.

It has. It's called Creating A Champion.
I got a 270MB pdf I on my PC. The place I downloaded it from seems to be dwon but I'm sure there's other places where it can be found or I could reupload it somewhere if people are interested.

Attached: MW-cover.jpg (1440x1920, 1.18M)

You named it

Apart from the Master Sword having durability

The dragons in general were disappointing as fuck. The first time you see one you're awed, but then as time goes on you realise they literally just exist to give you materials and fly the same handful of routes over and over.
Naydra fight was kino though.

Man, can you fucking imagine a Made in Abyss game made by the botw team, holy shit.

I think based on the trailer, Hyrule castle either sinks into the ground, or is rising up, sinks being more likely. With them using the same map, they would need to add some of the following to spice it up:

>Underground Areas/Caves
>Add proper swimming and add stuff to all the bodies of water and shallow ocean.
>Set the game far enough forward that the castle town and other villages have been rebuilt.
>Set the sequel in a different season so the weather patterns and climates are different.

who /cheatinthebike/ here? Ironically, having it early helps me take my time, since i'm not just rushing the Beasts to get my bike keys.

How would people feel if in the post-game they made the game seasons dynamic and made them change accodring to console time and date? Perhaps make each month one season?

I thought it was fine, it played out like a proper level/dungeon. You were intended to go there first so that's why it was designed like that, the rest of the game didn't feel that well thought out.

>Sacred realm that is harder and smaller than Hyrule
>Fishing
>Swimming like in SS
>Moldorms, lanmolas, human Stalfos, and Darknuts
>All weapons break quickly but kill fast so combat stays fast as it was on the plateau
Is that really so much to ask?

Attached: ganon1a.png (919x533, 563K)

How'd you get it early?

Please re-up! Put that shit on Mega

I would be interested in this too, I know someone who would want to see it.

Dude that would be awesome.

Is that from the art book?

No

Attached: 1546852105895.png (2005x886, 3.64M)

The Gerudo area feels like it had more thought put into it than the other areas
>wild fluctuating temperatures forcing you to be more aware of equipment
>unique environmental stuff like sandstorms or the molduga who respond to your movement on the sand
>Sand Seals as a unique method of traversal for the region
>The Gerudo questline has more going on with you having to do a whole mini dungeon sequence as well as the attack on the divine beast

Was it tarrey town?

Enjoy, anons

G*d bless you kind user
I'll share this blessed dolphin porn with friends

thanks user!

Dorf is a separate entity from Ganon.

I mean, the trailer shows him being the ultimate source of Malice manifesting in Hyrule during the previous 100 years.

But Nintendo is definitely go into more detail about Ganon and Dorf’s roles in the ancient times 10,000 years ago.

>extract save with homebrew
>dump save onto save editor
>give myself bike
>restore save

You can do a lot of things that help take away from the worst parts of the game, like giving the master sword (or any gear really) more durability or upping the charges of Ravioli's Gale. Sadly when those charges run out it'll recharge to the default 3 unless you edit again.

I also gave myself the Fierce Deity stuff because fuck Amiibo

I like you.

What if the next game takes place in the past, in the time ganon was first unleashed?

I was taking another look at the mural and noticed something interesting. On the top left you can clearly see the very first calamity. One man cutting the burning wood as the wind and rain come down. Center left you can see the sowing of field and a horse with plow and the formation of townships leading to Hyrule. Then you have you have the Shieka building tech on the right as the king is worshiped by his subjects. Then its the center piece with the fight against the first calamity Ganon, fighting it with the guardians.(a fight they were expecting from the time of the burning trees which is where ganondorf probably first appeared.). The bottom left has the the people literally up in arms and the king ordering his men forward. After some time you get to the bottom right where the kings men catch up and the clan grows tired. Then at the bottom right you can see the clan split, some running to Hylia and the bottom standing their ground with a spear.
>Whats very interesting to note is on the top left it all takes place beneath the mountains (Or maybe underground as the new trailer sees ganondorf) which slope at the townships. There are no other depictions of geography in the mural at all.

Attached: 1560871019658.png (3840x2160, 1.63M)

>dude it's totally hero ganondorf in the mural
What a dumb theory

Based and red potioned.

GOD DAMNIT I KNEW IT WAS GONNA BE DOLPHINS AGAIN RRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

My assumptions are in (parentheses) But the start of the timeline on the mural shows burning tree's under the mountains. Then the shieka building tech to fight Calamity Ganon center. Unless that big smoking monster isn't calamity ganon like the game itself said it was.

Also I miss read. Ganondorf is always the villain and will always be the villain.

I am assuming that you mean that the content can't catch up with how powerful you are with mipha's grace?

Full dungeons, proper caves & underground areas, and they don't reuse the same overworld.

Nintendo please

Don't listen to those other anons. This is not dolphin porn

Attached: proofs.png (1920x1040, 1.24M)

major cringe the fact that monkeys and humans are on the same period

I think I missed the part where they told me that. Thanks.

>don't reuse the overworld
We literally see the same overworld in the trailer.

Tiny minish village and little minish that you can trade with. Or maybe you can find little settlements in places like Luren and Kakriko, but you need a special item to see them.

Anywhere cold.

This is the lowest IQ post I've seen all week.

>we have to avoid the divine beast! If he knows we're here he'll rain shit down on the Goron village!
>you have to fire a goron at him from a cannon to get him moving
That shit made no sense.

Holiday 2020 is a safe bet. 2.5 years since BotW and it's using the same engine.

Worst area is the whole game.

I think the feeling of getting up that mountain and seeing that big ass camel manchine stomping around is burned into my head, I didn't even want to go near it because of how intimidating it looked, then there's apparently some giant sand crocs swimming around there i've yet to meet because I never completed the game, I mean I activated all the lost beasts but never made it to calamity ganon because I sold the wiiu a while back

Yunobo was the worst character in the entire game. Sounds just like a fat kid i went to school with.

The whole map is the worst.

xenoblade music is fucking magical

m.youtube.com/watch?v=r4t_j8GvSyE

>Best dungeon
>Best side-dungeon

This game has no dungeons.

You wouldn't even count Hyrule Castle as one?

Shit opinion. He was like the cute/dumb little brother that you constantly have to watch out for. It was a lot of fun. I wish that he and Sidon could have been permanent traveling companions.

This. I got the BotW DLC but never played master mode or whatever is called. I got the game 100% golden turd included so I'll wait for the sequel.

Anons, I booted up the game and dicked around for a bit and then realised I might genuinely be retarded.
I finished all FromSoft games without issues but I realised that in BotW I don't actually know how to dodge OR parry anything that is not a guardian beam.
How the hell do I time these? What am I doing wrong?

Wanna read the most autistic story I have to share?

Last year I had to take the greyhound cross country. I was miserable. Phone was broken. Life was in shambles. I couldn't sleep because I was on the bus and it was loud and stinky and kept shaking. So what did I do?

I pulled my switch out, popped in Xenoblade 2, wedged myself in a corner somewhere on the leftherian archipelago and held the joystick forward.

youtube.com/watch?v=0svNgZ3oQuA put me right to sleep. It was my go to the entire trip.

that grassland area with a fuckton of guardians that snipe you from the other side of the map is much worse.

>Going out of your way so you see the sex cutscene with all the great fairies
Link is trying out local flavor.

I always thought the skull lake was the most fascinating area in BOTW because of those huge as fuck flowers and the fact that the lake is actually deep as fuck.

It just makes you wonder if there's anything else lurking in those waters as you're swimming around.

Not a dungeon

Shame the cool world design and music is wasted on the MMO-tier gameplay with absolutely SHAMELESS cringeworthy gacha weebshit anime characters

That armor set really was awful, I wish they could have thought of something beyyee

The gameplay is fine, you can turn off most of the UI and the actual inputs and flow are fun. The gacha system is garbage and most blade designs are bad though, that's unforgivable.

The story suffered the most from the gacha shit, oddly enough. Blades as a conceit are stupid, and basing so much of the story's conflict on them without actually exploring things that would generate conflict is stupid.

Where does it tell you this? Because I missed this information too and actually had to solve it myself, which was hard as fuck.

>He can't beat the lynel on the great plateau

based
you can drag their ass across hyrule while critting like crazy, horses are fucking op when you ram them

Monolith has no Character designer of their own. To make artistic inconsistency worse, their way of getting the designs done was "this character has personality like this and it's elementtheme is this". Artists would do whatever they wanted with that. I think only main cast had more Monolith input.
Gacha mechanic is widely hated by everyone so I think we're never going to see it again in a game of theirs. Good thing you can comfortably complete the game without participating in it at all. Sidequest and main story blades are more than enough.
Combat is also great once you get the hang of it and start utilising what game gives you.
They fixed all they reasonably could with patches but initial damage was done when the game came out. I can't imagine playing it without all the QoL changes tha came over the course of 9 months after the game came out.

Dungeons is the worst areas in this game, just like in any other Zelda game.

Damn, that should've worked, good idea.

>constantly hear that Eventide Island is hard
>decide to save it for last
>do it and it's incredibly easy
>only have trouble trying to get the ball in the island

I should've done it a lot sooner. I probably would have had more fun.
