Built that gaming pc yet Yea Forums?

Are there new nvidia cards coming? Will a 2080 still get me through at least 4 years or so if I buy one later this year?

Probably, and yes.

I 100% automata with a 780. It crashed randomly between every 15 mins - 3 hours. Shit was horrible.

I made a huge mistake trying to save money and got a psu that wasn't fully modular when I was building my new PC last year, I hate all those unused cables just taking up space. I'm gonna get a new fully modular one along with a 2060.

And even if you're still confused and have questions after reading then there are places where you can ask your questions. /g/ has a stupid questions thread, which despite the seemingly alienating name is full of nice helpful people. And there's a PC building thread
where I'm sure some would be willing to guide as well. Also, like said, there are sites that check for compatibility. pcpartpicker.com is one people often use as it's also easy to share builds and ask for feedback.

I'm hovering over the button to start ordering the parts. Not really sure why I'm hesitating.

If you don't plan on overclocking the X part is better because it automatically adjusts clocks per load to give you the best performance.

>Alright. Shouldn't it still be a match-the-numbers process either way in the end?
yeah but if you tell a first timer "just look at the 4 digit number like 1155" and they see 1151 they're not going to consider the revision.
By being more specific you were in danger of leading him astray.
