BOTW 2
>If they're gonna do voice acting then go all out and give me a proper narrative and presentation for the story. Not the optional piece meal thing they did the first time around.
They already did flashbacks, I think this time they're going to emphasize interesting new characters alive in the present, like Sidon, the Gerudo princess, and the cocky Ruto guy who didn't get enough screentime. All we need is a waifu and we're set.
Shooting for a 100 instead of a 97? Maybe.
The announcement got me playing this game for the first time and it’s everything people hyped it up to be.
It’s the closest thing to ghibli we’ve seen in games though
Ni no Kuni?
Honestly my only real complaint with BOTW is that the world is massive and there's not much of interest to actually do. Exploring the world by itself isn't all that fun after the first few hours of it, and there's no real reward for doing.
All shitposting aside, if they make improvements in areas people complained about, this could be a legit 10/10 for me. Rework the weapon system, maybe have the ability to repair weapons or some shit like that. Remove slipping in the rain. Traditional dungeons with unique bosses. If they do dungeons, I want a combination of the traditional style, with the freedom of Hyrule Castle. Populate the world more. Small improvements could make this one of the best games.
Slipping in the rain is such bullshit; especially since the climbers gear specifically says that the gloves have grip to prevent slipping.
Unless this is just a cash grab, using the same map pretty much means they can focus almost all their resources on adding a shit ton new locations, gamplay elements (blight powers?), and enemies, and changing the map up enough that it feels like time has passed rather than glorified DLC.
Like imagine 10-20 dungeons the size of Hyrule Castle from BotW 1. Fast travel could maybe just be "shiekah pads" so you don't need to have some lame motion control shrine attached to it.
