That as well as the fact you just needed to make 1 character... And still be able to play ALL classes. In wow.. You need to level each one of them from the start and they are all the same. You have that in ff14. But in there you dont need to start your character and story from the begining. You just continue. Doing world events, dungeons. Class quests. Which i found rather interesting. Sad they had that pretty much in vanila. For certain abilities. Kinda like in ff14. And then had it in legion.. Then back to no class specific stuff. Also level alts in wow jsut felt useless. Proffessions sucked, were not worth even having. Other than enchanting and alchemy. And you didnt have much gold making opertunities from having more than 1 character. Not so in ff14.

As much as I would love to shitpost about WoW you would have to be delusional to think XIV will stop WoW any time soon especially with classic coming out. The current numbers in pic related is the highest in active character count to date with characters being the key word here. I'd imagine even with Alts considered we would still be in the high 900k-1mil territory but consider the eventual drop of players by the time of 5.1. The game will probably be back to the equivalent of 4.1 to 4.5 for most of it's new Expansion lifespan.

You should have seen Diadem on PS3. It's a shame that there's absolutely ZERO footage of it on Youtube. But I experienced it in person, it was terrible.
