The butthurt and shitflinging is because the Zelda fanbase is so fucking shit to begin with, and the majority of the people criticizing it have arguments that amount to "It's different", just like they did for Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess when they were the new hotness. The silent majority liked it, a few loud people venomously disliked it, and a few of the silent majority have become even louder about how they did like it. The Zelda fanbase is full of a rare mixture of autists and stupid normalfags, who both think they speak for everyone when they open their retarded mouths. Zelda fans think they're in some exclusive club, when really almost everyone fucking likes Zelda.
