It was a competent game with fantastic graphics and a really intricate vehicle creator. But it has way too many questionable design choices ( the humongous and empty levels, the lack in mission variety and parts that have no use after a while) to make it rank as high as the classics for me. It is still an enjoyable game and I'd welcome a sequel to it if they fixed these issues. I do firmly believe that if the game wasn't a banjo game, it wouldn't be given so much shit. I think it'd be a cult classic fondly looked back on by most.
Can we finally admit that this was a great game, and that despite all of the shit they received...
I’ve been replaying it and it’s honestly garbage. the challenges are more shallow than I remember
Good game, bad Banjo Kazooie game
A good concept for a video game that was mishandled with many strange design decisions and mostly bland missions. Its more fun to just make weird shit and muck around in the garage than it is to do delivery/racing mission number 46 (better yet if the game restricts you to one vehicle, making it literally just a racing game with bad physics). It's the closest the Banjo franchise has come to a second game worth playing so that's something I guess.
Odyssey levels were most of the time as big as Banjo Tooie levels.
character redesign is unforgivable. theyre almost as ugly as yooka laylee.
>Can we finally admit
why do bait threads always start with this?

viva pinata is still the most addicting game i have ever played. it could be a fun mobile game these days but they will probably put microtrasnactions in it
