You were SO close to getting it right. I guess Sword and Shield is the Beta for the next game that'll maybe, finally, truly be something you'd expect from an early Gamecube game.
The giant shit is so lazy, they should just make more mega evos or regional variants. Those were actually good ideas, why would they drop them so quickly?

It's not looking too good. Only thing I liked mechanically was roaming Pokémon.
Because those ideas define those particular gens and GF loves abandoning things to keep each game "special".
