Why haven't you gotten a VR headset yet?
Why haven't you gotten a VR headset yet?
because the fad is over.
I did but I got bored and returned it.
Already have the Odyssey+, probably not going to get another until the Index drops below $500 for the whole set.
but I do have one. Look what I can do and get away with/
The oculus rift S is a fucking joke
I'm waiting for the index. If im gonna be tethered to a pc im gonna have fucking IPD adjustment that works.
Pre-order Valve Index or buy HTC Vive now for half the price?
Which one should I be looking out for?
I know nothing about these but I have the hardware to run it.
I don't have enough room space, maybe 1.5mX1.5m tops.
I received my oculus S this friday. I've pirated many many games, and I just don't think it's yet worth half a grand. It's not even so much the headset as the games and the concept itself. It works, it's cool, but I can't imagine playing full games standing like that. It ends up being kinda tiresome for nothing.
Also I did have to fiddle basically every time I put the headset on and a few times after to get the ipd thing working "alright"
I did
PSVR if you have the console already and are cheap and want the exlusives.
Quest if you don't have a good PC
Rift S if you want something easy to set up
Rift or Vive are mostly interchangable if you get a full set of sensors.
Wait for Index if you want "next gen" VR
I havent pirated since the 2004 era. How hard is it pirating for vr?
I did. I feel robbed. There's nothing on it.
i did and my dick barely works because of how much i jerk off now
pretty easy
just keep in mind some games require steamVR to work as they launch themselves from it
I enjoy my OG Rift, but I think we need a bigger FOV and wireless before the real "next gen" of vr will be here.
Index looks good, and Quest seems like a good entry-level VR, but I can't wait when we get the best of both worlds with wireless, PC powered, and good FOV. Definitely a long ways off since it's already hard as hell to send all that data to the HMD wirelessly.
This. Actually extremely easy, if you have SmartSteamEmu for all the games. I have literally half the SteamVR library on my PC, at this point.
No games, the only games on it are games people convince themselves to like to justify the fact they spent so much money on the thing. Nothing that organically generates a following and gets people excited
Like the Xbone library
>buying Vive in 2019
i have 3
that and re7 look fun but fuck buying sony's retarded vr headset
2 expensive
no games in interested with
I'm waiting for Index
I have a Samsung Odyssey and I regret it
It's incredibly uncomfortable and the controllers aren't great. I wish I bought an OG Rift back then instead, even if it's lower resolution.
I feel like that's it. I've asked everywhere and either you get autistic about some game like beat saber or audica or you shell out a ton of money or pirate tons of small "cool" games that last you a week if you're lucky.
A good example is the superhot VR game. It's very cool and fun. I'm not gonna play that for 60 hours though.
