honestly, who really loses here. If you main a certain character, you obtain more experience vs. a selection of characters. As a person who uses multiple characters, you learn the matchup vs. that character with your selections. There are too many benefits either way so no idea why you are so mad.

It makes the game less fun. Because you wants to play the same game over and over with a person

You have to memorize so many strings that it's understandable.

You know people often cite MK's attraction of casuals as a bad thing but I love it. There are somedays where I want to diamonds in SFV and sweat my balls off in close matches. Other times I want to double flawless a screeching 12 year old by spamming Jacqui's machine gun over and over again.

Also all fighting games should have voice chat.

fun is subjective in this case. Someone could have fun getting used to different matchups with their main and when they see fit, they may pick a sub. Who knowd, you may not even be playing their main. Switching characters constantly will not make you efficient.

yes, it has the best tutorial in fighting games, even explaining frame data. It's also easy to play and fairly slow paced.

no, it may have a good tutorial but if anything KI has an even better one, MK has the worst gameplay out of all the fighting games in the market and you're definitely better off learning more traditional 2D games, or games that don't play like shit

This. People have been playing 1 character since the inception of a fighting game roster, people pick and stick to who they choose. Not to mention they might not even main the character they're choosing, but learning them and wanting to grind with them to get better

I don't care as long as they don't pick a character because they are high tier. I have 3 characters I'm currently using in MK11.
