Did you regret playing this mmo?
Did you regret playing this mmo?
nah, I had enough fun with wvw to justify the 20 bucks I spent on it
no
yeah quite so
this is the most grievous waste of resources ever
>spent 90% of the game cybersexing this cute chick I was banging across the country
It was ok, but she's a hardcore SJW now and she claims I raped her.
Not really. The only thing I regret is how bad it is compared to the first, since I never got too far into the first to enjoy it at it's height.
Not at all
Everything was very good, except for the endgame
If it had everything as is + _at least_ WoW (retail) level of endgame, it'd literally and unironically kill WoW years ago
Nope. It is superior version of guild wars 1: snorefest
they killed GW1 for this
what a blunder
when will boomers stfu about gw1
No, the PvP was fun for a good while and I enjoyed Living World Season 1 and even HoT a bit
It's just a shame that ArenaNet can't balance or rework anything for shit
It's of dubious importance for an MMO, but in relation to its scope this game has the worst writing I've ever seen in a video game.
Apart from that you actually get some bang for your buck I guess.
when GW3 makes everyone forget about the absolute failure that is GW2
which won't happen
Nah, I didn't spend too much time on it and I spent 0 dollars. I played it right in a period of my life where I was feeling like shit and needed something easy and repetitive to do.
Why do you dabble in rotten fruit, user? Pussy (or ass) is only temporary. It's not worth it in the long run.
It's the only mmo I've ever paid for outside of I guess toontown.
It wasn't awful I guess but the only "unique" thing it had going for it was the jumping puzzles and exploring hidden off areas, but for all i know that's not even unique, same shit as every other f2p mmo.
>GW3
Seeing as how the game team is still in Washington, its going to be worse than GW 2, if it even exist.
No. I get back into it about every year or so, currently playing it rn
I regret playing games too much in general.
Story wasn't too bad but then the tree guy showed up and then apparently the first expansion was all about the tree people.
difficult to say
everytime I come back to it I'm thrilled by the WvW again, but this lasts only a couple of days at best
and then I notice how everything else about this game is absolute trash, except for the map design and the mouints and I leave disappointed again
Yes, it's just achievement hunting.
She was around 4'11'' and her pussy got so creamy and tight. Totally worth spending time with her, when I did.
>pussy is temporary
Yeah, I dumped her after she turned 18 and started dyeing her hair
why are you posting a random john cosplayer that you certainly don't even know
Kermit ethered every pro-GW2fag eternally.
because fuck you, that's why
no
the best moments of my life were on world of warcraft
well ok, have a nice day
yes, every second of my 2000+ hours
kittdai...
Asura sex
no cause i dont play shit
KEK
I bought it at launch, paid 52€ for it, played for a week, never came back.
I regret it existing
No I don't regret it, but still it's not what I expected from a GW successor.
To be fair, most those devs have left
It doesn't matter. They got control of the game while its still young and the new writers have to work with these shit, especially this retarded team.
>Story goes full ham making the plant people the fucking center piece of it.
>None of the other races even got a fucking chance to be cool in the story.
>Hit endgame have absolutely no idea what to do there is no vertical progression.
>PVP is cool for 5 minutes then you realize that you cant play what you want because people are using optimal builds and then you realize your build is shit and they haven't made it any good.
>WVW is a zergfest that gets tiresome and repetitive after a few hours
>They tried to get people to buy an expansion that only gave you a new area class and glider for 40 dollars
Yes very much.
Can't argue there.
I regret buying it and not getting a refund when I could. I was one of those unfortunate idiots that believed the "hype" and prepurchased this piece of shit.
I regret pre ordering
I regret paying full price
I regret not dropping after ascended gear
I regret not dropping after the first expansion that added even more power creep with the dumbass specializations that overshadowed 90% of vanilla classes
I do NOT regret playing the beta, it was absolutely amazing, no restrictions like now, no soul bound trash, open market, legendary weapons being discovered by random chance, recipes were fun to find
now it's all spreadsheet korean grinder trash, furfag rats and the once proud charr became tranny fodder, the biggest shitshow in history since mass effect 3, I am still mad and I will forever be mad because I met my best friends ever in the first guild wars and this abortion sullied my precious memories for the rest of my life
fuck ncsoft, fuck arenanet and most importantly fuck you OP for reminding me of this insult to humanity
I do not regret playing it. I had fun while leveling my first character and with completely stomping the shit out of low levels in the world vs world pvp
However the game as a whole can't hold a candle to GW1. That game was better in pretty much every respect.
No. Only MMO i ever enjoyed playing.
Not regret, it was a decent enough timewaster but that was all it could ever be, nothing in the game back when I played (original launch and later HoT) was all that fun.
Exploration felt like ticking off boxes on a map rather than actually discovering anything and being rewarded for genuine curiosity.
The was retarded, your personal story quickly becomes impersonal as you have three factions all with a singular goal and this overwhelming sense of agreement means none of them can even cooperate over the most trivial of things until salad-jesus shows up to save the day with you as his sidekick. Ordinarily I'd not care that an mmo has a retarded story, but it was Anet that was pushing just how epic this story was.
Combat was where I had the most complaints, I played every class and none of them felt particularly deep except for elementalist and engineer and even then it was mainly memorizing what combos you could create solo. The rest of the time it was circle strafing an enemy while spamming all your abilities on cooldown. That was it. There was such a focus on group combos that your own solo ability suffered for it beyond the few classes who could make their own combos.
Not that group content was much better, with no trinity and support being a joke that left all content as zerging bosses with damage and dodge-rolling from the aoe spam. Most group content in other mmos even with zero communication feels somewhat coordinated. Here the only difference I felt between endgame dungeons and world bosses was the framerate.
This
I'd probably still play it if they hadn't ruined WvW
Let me guess, Warclaw pretty much fuck everything?
this, i paid full price for it and stopped playing a little after Fractals were made and the gays who wanted a gear treadmill finally won.
I had fun killing my own teams zergs with this thing. The salt was unreal.
Warclaw is just the latest in the series of fuckups, but it's been years since I've really bothered to care about it.
Pretty much every change since the original rapidfire buff made WvW worse. Starting with the specialization patch, the downhill slope became much more steep.
If you ask me, WvW died with HoT and its abundance of unkillable instant oneshot ranged burst crap, e.g. hammer reventants. They've only continued to add such shit, to the point that the entire zerg gamemode is now a mess of hundreds AoE markers all the time and roaming is all about the instagib.
>regret
Fuck no, getting drunk with friends and going through all 1~4 raid wings on a weekly basis was a blast, haven't had more fun in any other game.
Nope, it's in the best state now it's been in a long time and has plenty of end-game content to keep me occupied, despite what people who obviously haven't played it in years have to say about the "lack of" endgame content. Also they just added the best mount to the game and it fun as fuck to fly around with. Stay mad gw1 boomers.
What was so "fun" about GW1? From what I played it was just
>Long, tedious maps where you fight devourers every minute minutes
>Extremely limited skills meaning you have to be geared towards a specific role, when all you do is fight devourers
>Absolutely boring combat, even as a mage
>Shittiest group finding and shitty group mechanics
>Shitty pvp with no thinking needed
>Attempt at involved story
>But literally no attempt at weight or meaning, can literally have the prince of your nation fucking rip it and nobody bats an eye
>Everyone is travis touchdown
At least some of the story bits were interesting. Did people praise and love it because it was basically a korean mmo before all other korean mmo's, just because you play the shitty female models and erp?
