I'm glad those things are banned now.
Kind of miss it. It was an innocent time.
The 2000s were a pretty split decade. It was the last "boomer retro" decade, but you also had a Zoomer underbelly bubbling beneath the surface.
2009 was the last year of the boomer retro timeline. For this reason alone I think the 2000s should be appreciated a lot more than they are.
I knew some pre-tumblr girls/KHfujos who would be the ones to use those yaoi paddles a long time ago and they'd look as you would expect

It's fun to look back on 2000s IRL and the internet in general but things have gotten even more autistic these days

I see you saw that one YouTube video too
twerking was a thing pre 2010 dumbass. literally watch any rap video in the 2000s and their will be girls twerking
It was an underground "club" thing in the 2000s. It didn't hit the mainstream until Miley Cyrus popularized it in 2013.
Remember back when there were no captchas?

Year the iPhone came out, yeah. But the "Year of the iPhone" would be 2013 or 2014.

No one used Tumblr in 2007.

That really kicked off in 2008, but I won't argue with that one.

yikes
I mean don't get me wrong, 2007 wasn't a very good year, but it wasn't the year the timelines shifted. That was 2010.
But that's wrong.
You're going to feel so embarrassed when Kimmo finally stops spamming and moot removes the captchas.
this is the gayest shit I've ever red

I know people who have started speaking like this in real life. What the fuck are they putting in the water that people come up with this word vomit to say "old good new bad" but with 48 extra words

MCU started with 2008 Iron Man. Fuck I won't even address the other shit. You're a zoomer beyond fixing.

there was some weird cartoon network MMO (not fusionfall) browser game that played like club penguin back in the 2000s and I'm pretty sure it got shut down because of all the online dating
here we see a seething zoomer FAGGOT that is sour grapes over a better time he can never experience
Anything before 2006 is better than this full blown globohomo technocracy we are in right now
No, you're a Zoomer.
Are you really gonna mock people for being unhappy that they didn't get to experience better times? If anything you should be empathetic towards them, as they realize things used to be better and are sad they didn't get to live it.
And once again, the "technocracy" really began in 2010. That was the year the timelines shifted and we entered, as the kids say these days, "clownworld".

>Are you really gonna mock people for being unhappy that they didn't get to experience better times?
Yes, but you're right. I just want to remind them that there was a better time, not because of superiority, but so they don't get conditioned into thinking the status quo is the new normal. You're right on how I shouldn't mock them, but you're wrong it started in 2010. Culture doesn't just magically change at the end of a decade. There's always some overlap.
I don't see the problem. Minecraft is much more zoomer than 2006 Roblox ever will be.
I played Roblox when I was 12 years old. I'm 26 now.
He's implying the cake is a lie
>children
It's 2019. 18 year olds today were born in 2001.
I'm sure they have some good 90s nostalgia talks back in the retirement home, grampa.
You can say whatever the fuck you want if you don't mind looking stupid.
I personally disagree with the latter assertion, based on my own observations. 2007 was a dark omen of things to come for sure, but 2010 was the first year that felt markedly different to me. That was the first year I saw people using smartphones, the first year social media became something important outside of the Internet, and the first year 2010s pop became accepted in the mainstream, with Justin Bieber's "Baby", Bruno Mars' "Just the Way you Are", and Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" all becoming accepted by the masses.
Once again, these are just my observations, but I think there's something to them.
That's all true, some things lasted two more years. The point there is that the late 2000's were wildly different from the early 2000's. Same how classic Toonami ended in 2008 (before the modern reboot). I truly believe the Great Recession is to blame for all this. Same with how Japan drastically changed in the 90's after their Great Recession.
>2010
>first year 2010s pop became accepted
No shit, retard. That's also when it started to exist at all.
This is so accurate that it actually hurts. I identify with like 90% of this.
There were some 2010sish songs in the 2000s though. Usher's "Yeah", Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" which itself came out in 2009, pretty much everything by The Black Eyed Peas and Fergie, M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes", and most of Rihanna's songs were all very 2010s-sounding.
So I'm apparently a 19 year old woomer.
Also I was just able to log into my old neopets account so holy shit.
>I wonder if my neopet is still alive
>tfw someone is remaking OG Neopets
I'm almost tempted to buy that Neopets PS2 game while I wait for that, because I only ever had the demo desk.
>Wonder if my neopet is still alive
;_;
>and the first year 2010s pop became accepted in the mainstream, with Justin Bieber's "Baby", Bruno Mars' "Just the Way you Are", and Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" all becoming accepted by the masses.
user, what the fuck are you on about? Where were you when Kay Perry's I Kissed A Girl and Lady Gaga's Bad Romance hit around the late 2000's? Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III? Coldplay's Viva La Vida? Enrique fucking Iglsesias? Come on, user. And I remember seeing people drop their Razr's and going for touch screen phones immediately after 2007. How old are you exactly? I don't think you remember these things clearly. Yes, shit ramped up in 2010, but it officially started in 2007ish.

I miss it senpai. I want to go back, I want to forget everything that happened in between. The present fucking sucks and its not getting better
>emo panda eyes are gone forever
Honestly most of this sounds like something more up the alley of a 30 year old. I can't really imagine a 7ish year old into prime time Linkin park or Newgrounds.
First time I'm hearing about this, got a link or anything?
I Kissed A Girl wasn't half as big as the songs I listed, and Bad Romance was released at the very end of 2009. Lil Wayne was also not as big as the songs I listed. Viva la Vida wasn't 2010s at all, what are you talking about? If anything I'd say Viva la Vida was pretty early 2000s.
If you read this , I'm basically agreeing with you that many pop songs foreshadowed the 2010s. But there wasn't as much of a monopoly on mainstream music as what started in 2010. There was both more artistic freedom from the creators' standpoint and from the listener's choice. Alternative rock and emo was also pretty big in the late 2000s, and both of those are pretty much dead now.
Where are my zoomers at?
Alright kiddos time for the true test : where were you during 9/11 and what were you doing?
I was 1 year old when 9/11 happened.
Saw my mom listening to the radio in the morning. Was in 3rd grade. I remember the cafeteria at lunch being particularly quiet that day.
> If anything I'd say Viva la Vida was pretty early 2000s.
>The song was released on 13 June 2008 as the album's second single, debuting to critical acclaim and commercial success.
Pal, I won't judge you for being a zoomer. I get shit from older millennials by not living the 90's like they did. It's okay, you don't have to be so defensive.
>I can't really imagine a 7ish year old into prime time Linkin park or Newgrounds.
I was 8 when I discovered Newgrounds in 2004 and owned three Linkin Park albums and a shirt, lad.
I was about to get the third clue in Blue's Clues when I got out of school early, but my parents changed it to the news. The following year I saw Ground Zero in person.
I still got mine. I had my gf slap me with the paddle for fun, but she slapped the back of my scroat boat.
...You're really being this concrete? I know it was released in 2008, but the style is more early 2000s than late 2000s.
Do you know what taking things too literally is a symptom of?
>That one cosplayer who is now wheelchair bound and had their life ruined in a split second because of some asshole.
It's not fair bros
Good god I used to think this song was the coolest thing ever
>another user who was watching Blue's Clues during 9/11
Fair enough. Linkin park was big when I was a teenager which seemed like the intended demographic to me.
>*Glomps you*
Oh my God I just had flashbacks to my middle school and early high school years when I had a long distance gf and we were both huge weebs

Look at that list. Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus , Katy Perry and Drake.
Now compare it to this

Linkin Park, Nickelback, Usher, Avril Lavigne and Eminem
00s culture died prematurely.
In the End was the first song I ever downloaded online, off of Napster.
I was so young I remember asking my mom if it was okay.
But you're right, I'm almost 30. Linkin Park was popular for a long time, though.
That meme seems way too specific for a blanket statement. Some self indulgent prick probably made it about themself.
>start doing the F2P quests of old runescape
>instantly transported back 15 years with all the Monty Python references and dated internet humor that weren't even funny at the time

I'm only 21 and I remember being old enough to be angry that Minutes to Midnight wasn't the Linkin Park I liked.

Let me guess, you were a cake is a lie memer?
how the fuck have you not filtered that shit already
>have sex

>defending Usher and Nickelback
And yeah, things started falling apart in about September of 2009. But while all those garbage artists (with the exception of Lady Gaga, who is genuinely talented) did have hits in late '09, they didn't match up to their songs' success nowadays. There was still more freedom in the music scene. One of Avril Lavigne's biggest hits, Girlfriend, came out in 2007, and while I'm not a fan of Avril, she WAS the pop-punk genre of the 2000s.
My point is, there was still more wiggle room back then, than in this decade.
I don't think anybody liked Minutes to Midnight.
That song Leave Out All The Rest is actually really good in retrospect, though.

Going to third period science right out of gym my 8th grade year. I live in the DC area and was playing outside later that day and saw fighter jets whoosh by. Shit was weird.
>born in 1997 but don't know which generation to identify with because of my boomer dad who raised me on his taste in anime and vidya and had me playing on emulators as young as 3
It's an abstract feel.
I completely forgot about con culture back then holy shit this stuff wouldnt fly now
You'll get called a zoomer by boomers and a boomer by zoomers. It's pretty neat.
Was suppressed power level weeb that just wanted to check one out. Was at hotel with friend and we got on the bus/shuttle. Couldn't sit by eachother. My buddy say by a landwhale in Haruhi costume and I got stuck by an actual retard dressed as Yuki. The retard would not sit in the wiindow so I had to climb over blob of retard mass.
Halfway there the other landwhale goes "She thinks you're cute!" I glance and aren't sure what she means but the retard is now looking at me making exaggerated kissy face. Other landwhale tells her to kiss me and the retard starts climbing towards me and pressing against me.
The vile strench was awful and the retard strength and mass was nearly overpowering me.
I tell them both to stop and they don't. I slammed open palm into tard face and shoved her off into the aisle and put my back to the window and raised my legs. The tard tried to climb back and i was ready this time. Send my foot into its face and sent it flying into another landwhale.
It was a pretty harrowing experience. I didn't get to go the conference as I got arrested. Charges were dropped as they deemed it self-defense.

is this from one of those weird "toy" channels?
In Texas, back in 05 or so, high school girls would get into the club and get up on the rail and twerk. This was a college town, though, so it was pretty lax as long as no one gave them any alcohol. They'd bail after about 20 minutes anyway, though, I think it was a dare for the popular girls clique at the local schools.
Pretty sure I was in a few GGW montages, just some passing drunk dude though.
I was in Disney world. I was 8 years old and was looking forward to the water park so much which we planned to do last during our vacation. I remember someone getting on the intercom and telling everyone the park was closing. I don’t remember if they announced what happened but it was weird. The whole park got a fair bit quieter and the atmosphere was odd, we went home and saw it on TV. I was still young enough to kind of be detached but my older brother was in tears. We ended up having to drive home

>anime dads
Did anybody else have a father that was really into anime? He tried to make me sit through Evangelion when I was 6 and after every episode he'd autistically quiz me on what happened.
He's embarrassed about it now looking back but says back then he thought it would make me smart since he considered it high intellectual discourse or some shit.
I was too young to be traumatized, I was just fucking confused
Most of these are my lateteenhood
Also Greatest Everyday is so under rated
I had an anime mom, she got me into Inyuasha
Because most of the people here now were toddlers then. we are the minority now
I learned when I grew up that my dad was really into anime in the 70s and 80s, which I guess is why he was sympathetic and let me record Inuyasha, FMA and Dragon Ball on tape to watch the next day since they aired past my bedtime.
My parents were jesus freaks who hated anything remotely foreign or "dark".
My father was very anti video games, also, and broke more than console/pc to punish me.
I had to download shit and hide in my room to watch it.
I wish my dad had appreciated Eva, you lucky fuck.
If all it takes is a few shows and games you don't like to ruin a year, your life must be absolutely pathetic. I enjoy the memories of trash talking mexican kids on halo 3 with my bros, its too bad you can't.
>dad forced an user to watch evangelion at age 6
sounds pretty based
My family didn't know or care about weebshit. It was all just cartoons to them, and I'd watch whatever I could get my hands on. Anime was always exciting, I thought Cybersix was anime too. Later on when I was like 19 or 20 I attended a few anime watching meets at a local university, and there were a few older dudes mixed in. Can only imagine how depressed they feel these days.
I hate congoers and cosplayers.
I have so many omelettes and jellies in my inventory
*gets blowjob behind the hotel from inyuasha*
I was out playing hide and seek with my older brothers and friends until I saw them all run back home to watch the news.
This shit is so alien to me, my parents and all other kids parents where boomers (Actual boomers, not the meme kind) That thought all cartoons were for 4 years, they didn't even like Simpsons, Kin of the Hill or any adult animation. I got away at watching South Park and Family Guy as they first aired when I was 7 because my parents just thought
>Cartoon, for kids
They even watched some with me so I don't know how they didn't raise any eyebrows at the violence or swearing. When I was about 15 and getting into anime and AS I'd get the whole
>user, aren't you a bit too old for cartoons
I just stopped watching them in front of them when ever I go home. I seriously don't know where this mental block came from
It's interesting to hear Zelda music in a video recorded before Ocarina of Time even came out. It serves as a reminder that the things we love had a bigger history than what we remember best.

I was watching the news live at home here in crumpetland. Thought it was cool witnessing some explosions and chaos on TV and how the hosts were quite shocked and uncertain as to what they should say.
In a few years we're going to start seeing posts about how great things were in 2019 when life was easy and carefree.
My dad was born in 1971
His physical anime collection was fuckign huge, he owned over 1600 figurines from various mecha anime by 2005 and had copies of JRPGs and schmups and fighting games that didn't even make it to the West.
He actually spent 500 dollars on a rare limited Optimus Prime that was only available in Japan.

People in 2009 said the same thing about 1999. You were too young to relate to that, though. In 2029, someone is going to say the same thing about 2019. By then you'll likely have the perspective to realize how silly and juvenile that sounds.

I'm so glad that I'm not a stupid ass boomer and can enjoy new things.
Anyone here remember this website called Bored.com? It was really popular in the mid-late '00s, and it was a collection of links to jokes, games, and flash animations.
all I really miss is when the internet was a secret wonderland and the world was just slightly less connected, most shit is pretty good these days otherwise

Nah, but my dad would record Saint Seiya and FMA on tape for me since I was at school when it was airing. He has always been cool with my chinese cartoons.
here ya go
the economics, so to speak, of the internet means that consolidation is inevitable
it being digital means that all barriers to expansion are gone as well as the barriers keeping people from funneling into the best offer. If I want to go to the store, I have X shops within Y radius, who need to pay rent and staff. If a restaurant is too popular it will be full and I might not even be able to go. If I want a website, I have the entire world at my fingertips, so I just pick the one that's slightly better.
Centralization also is it's own benefit. If you have two websites, I need to check both for content. The one that's slightly better will get more content, and then it will be more popular since it's easier to find things and it will compound on itself. Websites are like utilities, you only need one phone line, and having 10 electrical socket types is just a pain in the ass.
jesus christ that's pathetic
But things DID go to right right after. In 2001 was 9/11 and in 2019 the great recession was in full swing, which by 2010 had become really bleak.

>1997
wew lad
I know I'm getting old when I see people being nostalgic for Roblox, god damn.
wtf are they doing?
People didn't hate portal, they hate the people obsessed with it.
It was a decent game
>tfw born '97 but was poor as a kid so I mostly consumed old entertainment
The only system we got new was a PS2 and for most of that time we just had a few games like Kingdom Hearts. I spent my childhood playing on a really old mac games like Lego Island, The first three Myst games, Sim Tower. We also had a SNES with tons of games.
So as a result I have no friends because my generation are all zoomers and I'm a boomer at heart.
Zoomer
Walking into class after first recess, didn't think it was going to be a big deal because everyone assumed it was an accident with a tiny single person private plane till I saw the footage, then that shit was on the news nonstop for a year at least
sleeping when it started, on newgrounds when it fell and saw it on the news later
stopped going to newgrounds a few months later because the top 100 flashes were always KILL OSAMA and etc boring shit instead of my god damn stick fightan daily doses
Glomping.
Does anyone remember the DSUltimate forums? Possibly even a link that I could throw into wayback machine, want to try and get some of the old AR codes that they had for SM64 DS
>Was younger than Ed when I saw this
>Will be the same age as Spike in October
This is gold, thanks.
if its vague then youre too much of a zoomer to understand
>peanut butter jelly
Oh god
>stuff like Gundam would put hair on my chest ant turn me into a man
I'm a massive gundam fan, but that's not even close to true.
Yea Forums actually loved Portal when it came out and for some time after. It didn't start getting hated around here until every normalfag "I AM A GURRL GAMER DON'T HIT ON ME U SILLEE BOIS!" ran around posting "DELICIOUS CAEK TEH CAEK IS A LIE!!!! XD" everywhere.
same. gundam has only blackpilled me.
No, I'm saying it's too vague to be specific to apply to the age group. You probably put it together with a few google searches and think it's true.
Holy shit bro
applies to anyone within that age range that was a lurker here when it was all relevant
stay mad that your beverage got discontinued
It's interesting just to see how differently people experienced or remember the 00s since half of this thread spent their childhood in the 00s and the other half spent their teenage years in the 00s.
Was too young and introverted to go to any cons in the 2000s.
Wish I could have though, they seemed to be way smaller in scale and had a stronger sense of community.
A lot of conventions these days are huge press events that attract thousands due to how big the gaming industry is now.
Also social media caused a breakdown in the subcultures we used to have so now the demographics for these events is way more broad.
I remember the common opinion of all the adults back then was that the 00's were a terrible decade and we'd be glad to be out of it. I wonder what they think now.
I was a sophomore in high school in first period math class when my teacher was called to leave the room by another teacher, then when she came back started talking about how the end was upon us and to get ready for the rapture (this was at a small town school in the Bible Belt) and then the bell rang, then when I got to my next class my science teacher told us that one of the tallest buildings in the world had just fallen to the ground and to go to the library and watch the news because history was happening. Not more than one minute after we went into that library the second tower fell.
Well, you hear people saying that about the 2010's now. Just wait 'till what people will be saying in the 2030's.
Perhaps. I think they were right, honestly. The social cohesion was bad back then and it's only getting worse. We can have fond memories of the past but still recognize that it was worse in other ways. For instance, imagine if some disaster struck and we were all forced to use the internet quality and speeds from 20 years ago - it would be awful. We tend to overlook the good things for some reason.
I always wanted to go but I was a broke college kid living with my parents and there's no way in hell they'd ever give me money to go to a nerd convention.
Now I'm 34 and could easily go but I feel way too old, like the time has passed me by and and all the young weebs would think I was a creep.
>be '97 fag
the only games i got to put any significant time in where lego games since they didn't like video games
except nightfire for the ps2 but soon after they give that to the neighbor
the only only computer was in the living room so i ever has the opportunity to browse the web for anything interesting
but that changed at 16 when my parents broke up and i got my own xbox360 and computer
i just wonder sometimes what i missed out on if my parents weren't such sticklers
Holy fuck
If it was 10 years ago, I'd unironically have faster internet than I have now.
Don't remind me of that shit. Lost a friend to that. Fucking family guy watching faggot.
Yes fucking please, I want to go back
I'm not mad. I can still order it from Italy. Stay mad at me doing the

>be 5'2
>gf is 5'11
was funny when we found that image
2013 was the last year of old internet. 2014 is when everything that 2007 started came into full effect, and we've never recovered since.
Mine actually is slower now because I live in the countryside. Sometimes it takes me like ten seconds to load a 1mb image.
Same situation though less country and more dirt road off a main paved road so can't run any cable down this way.
Even in 2013 it had been in decline for a while. Internet communities had been dying for a while.
As a brony I feel that MLP may have been the one, last big showing of the old internet before it died.
>Summer 2010
>Dad used to do time trial/derby car races as a hobby
>Dad takes me on a trip to a race track in a literally where town 4 hours away
>Stay there for three days watching him race
>Come back 10 PM Sunday
>Take a shower
>Watch this exact episode from my DVR that recorded it from Adult Swim the night before
>Sit through all the bumps and commercials and shit
>Go to sleep and go to middle school the next day
It's weird, I never cared about that show and always thought people like you were strange, but when I heard that that show is currently airing what will be its final season and is about to end I got kind of sad. Like an era is ending.
People way older than you go to those conventions now.
I just miss PC mags at this point, they were in a state of dying for a long time but even at the back end I enjoyed them. It's all so impersonal now, and critics act above it all instead of revelling in their role
>As a brony I feel that
Stop reading there, fuck off back to your containment board horsefucker
Web 2.0 is a thing because corporations, marketing firms, and special interest groups now see the potential for money making in the internet. Web pages now always want to know your location for a reason. YouTube wants you to use your full name when in the past it was advised not to. It's no longer an escape. The internet is an accessory to the real world. Now anyone with a minimum wage job can get a phone plan to browse the web.
It was a lot more exclusive back then and to think it was even more exclusive before the Eternal September crisis.
Yaoi paddles were the gayest thing ever. And not because they were yaoi, it could have said "male penis in female vagina straight heterosexual paddle" and it would still be mad gay shit.
>still being triggered by pony shit
lol
>in the distant future, user is on his deathbed
>with his last breath, he makes one final request
>better not bury me next to no goddamn ponyfag
>his descendants make sure to not only bury him next to the biggest ponyfag they can find, they put every pony on his tombstone
>user was not liked by his family
I was two when it happened.
I definitely wouldn't call 2013 "old internet", that's reserved specifically for the Geocities and AOL wild west. Youtube had already been fucked by Google, social media had infested everything, forums were all but wastelands, and the niche was becoming mainstream. But, it was definitely the dying breath of a sort of sliver age.
blows my mind that the show is almost 10 years old. Things felt so different then.
You're right. By "old internet" I meant more like stuff from 2005 to 2009.
>to think it was even more exclusive before the Eternal September crisis.
How much do we know about this time? I thought a small amount was preserved in some google pages somewhere.
I feel that anyone who unironically (and incorrectly) uses the word "weeb" just to bitch about anything Japanese at all should be sent in a time portal to the worst of these conventions so they can experience what it really means.
fuck off
>(and incorrectly)
No, they're actually using it correctly. It was a troll term started by Yea Forumstards to piss off people who liked anything even remotely Japanese, much like posting "JAPAN IS SUPERIOR" macro images of Japanese girls eating eels out of each others asses.
Looking back I can see how parts of the community in the old days differed so much from how it is now.
One of the first big dramas was how one episode had a pro-religious message, pointing to how atheism still was a major and popular force on the internet, unlike today.
My first exposure to SJWs was through derpygate.
There actually are forums for discussion of the show.
Yea Forums used to be a major influence on the culture.
I don't actually watch the show anymore though, occasionally check out fan content (especially nostalgic ones), and identify with the word brony but that's pretty much as far as it goes.
Honestly, 2009 was the last year of old internet.
And you know what else? The decline started in 2006. That's right, I've taken the fucking blackpill. Sure there were some kino things from the late '00s, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Caramelldansen, but at the end of the day, the amount of 2010s foreshadowing overpowered the good. If there was a way to separate the good from the bad, regardless of time period, then maybe the timeline would be more aesthetically pleasing, but the truth is, the "clownworld" started in 2006, and we hit the point of no return in 2010.
Fuck this world.
I was in 5th grade, doing some morning math or reading activity. I remember a teacher coming in and telling us that we'd always remember this day, and that it was similar to her remembering the day JFK died.
Then I got to go home early and play video games for the rest of the day, since my school was near where one of the planes went down. I remember feeling pretty safe though, since I lived in such a small town. I couldn't imagine ever being a target for anything.
this
>I remember a teacher coming in and telling us that we'd always remember this day
Before she told you what happened? Way to scare the kids.
fuck off, eel ass was the hottest shit
Ironic how it became a term used by people who are pissed off by anything even remotely Japanese.
Bump for visibility
I honestly have never heard of them before this thread, and I don't know how. I was a pretty hardcore weeb from 1998 until 2007 or so and I've been on Yea Forums since 2005, yet I'd never heard of a "yaoi paddle".
It's a con/IRL thing, unless you went to cons around that time of course you wouldn't hear of this shit
I thought me and my gf were pretty far into the size_difference territory but you take the cake, you're 2 inches shorter than me.
If you weren't a fat girl with a Jack Skellington tattoo, an Invader Zim bag, and a Kingdom Hearts shirt, or if you didn't know any such fat girls, it's something you generally wouldn't encounter.
>born in 1971
>boomer
fucking inhale ammonia and bleach
>too young to be an old school boomer
>too old to be a modern day boomer
were you touched by a 1971 boomer to make you this angry?
I lurked NSider for too long, by the time I finally joined I was only able to go to one Camp Hyrule--the last one. At least my cabin got first place.
...
>filename isn't Girugamuk
In addition to being a poorfag I also had a brother who was a few years older than me, and as a result I've always identified more with the 1993-1996 generation rather than with early zoomer cucks born in 1998-2000
The fact you herald it as some bastion of twerk culture makes you a candidate for day of the rope nigger
I was saving this for the next battlestation thread, but here is my battlestation circa 2004.
Sorry to hear about your genes
Can I fuck the hole I make in your head with a 12 gauge slug?
noice
>Its 3 am in 2004 and this comes on your CET
I want to go back
This is inaccurate as all fuck.
was watching tv naked in my room
Why is it that late 90's/early 2000's anime openings/endings always use the same instruments/ It's very nostalgic.
Apparently my favorite movie was Spirited Away when I was a kid, if that counts.
Need info on that remake user
Making a 6 year old watch Eva and quizzing them on it
I hope this is real because I fucking busted a gut reading this
dad got me into robotech and some old vidya of his

I FELT THE HATE RISE UP IN ME

Remember the .hack anime?

youtube.com

Cuck and futa are gross to me, but whoever likes them can like them. I'm politically neutral, but for some people that's as good as alt-right.
Honestly, 2009 was the last year of old internet.
And you know what else? The decline started in 2006. That's right, I've taken the fucking blackpill. Sure there were some kino things from the late '00s, like Super Smash Bros. Fuck this world...
Oh shit its actually you.
I figure it was a piss in the wind. I am around the same kind of mindset. I am a '90 boomer. You?
'83. But honestly with all the stuff I was and am into I may as well have been a 90s kid.
Shut the fuck up Onsokumaru
Gaia is gay.
I recognize that gateway computer, it flips from the top and covers the front. Good times, I think that was my server secondary computer. Do you still have anything pictured?
This was already posted, is there something wrong with you?
What was the last good era here?
Nah it isn't.
Gaia is dead
I wish I was as good at shilling as Red bard is.
Americans got a lot of anime really fucking late.
I reposted it for visibility.
almost neat until i saw the trip so i guess you're goin in the filter
Dude yeah spot on! I still love that Gateway case design. I still have the PC but since it's a P4 booting it up isn't worth the power it draws. In terms of stuff from the picture... I still have the PlayStation banner, Toon Link bobblehead, and the PC speakers are the same ones I have now.
I want to say I have that Eva mini-wallscroll but I have no idea where. Thing was made of paper which defeated the purpose of a wallscroll IMO. It was a poster with tubes.
Technically I have the consoles too but I won't pretend they see much use.
VHS chads, ASSEMBLE.
This is for people born in the mid 90s, not late 90s
>if you don't remember 9/11 you're a zoomer
Ok, then I remember 9/11.
Sorry man. Just wanted to have a way to answer questions.
>next year is when the people who weren't alive during 9/11 can show their faces here
i was probably shitting my pants or something in kindgergarden
The present always suck and the past was always romantic and rustic.
Stop shilling your channel here kenny lauderdale you insufferable faggot, the archives tell all
If you were born in 83 you're already a 90s kid retard. You were 7-13 in the 90s, prime childhood.
Make Me.
I distinctly remember back in 2012 when people born in the early 90s were the majority of this site, and people born in the late 90s were widely considered cancerous pieces of shit. But now since the 2016 election, people born in the late 90s are the majority of the site, and posters born in the early 90s seemingly died.
>kenny lauderdale the faggot who shills his shit content here on Yea Forums is also a wojak poster
Gee what a surprise
nora is my wife
Shh, nobody tell him.
the only good thing from kenny was that clip of Space Sheriff Shaider throwing a dog
well i think it was Shaider.
Easily 96-2001. It's amazing how real life mirrors wrestling. You can tell retards because they go
>lol nostalgia
>lol decades
Everything has been absolutely shit from 2000 onwards. You can count the exceptions on one hand per each medium.
When did Yea Forums turn into an eceleb board?
since gamegrumps and shit.
since fags like kenny lauderdale, gggmanlives and smegmaking/emptyhero decided Yea Forums and Yea Forums as a whole was their playground to shill their garbage videos
