That was the intent of mocap and less dialogue for Venom Snake. Kojima wanted to show his emotion through his face. He says so in one of the interviews, but I doubt anyone here cares.

I don't get what everyone else is saying, it seems like he was thinking "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all" because Kaz is a bitch and Venom wants to avoid yapping to him for an hour because of the possibility of a fallout.
A fallout would be bad for Diamond Dogs, given that it's at such an early stage, bad for morale, discord within management and direction, especially financial, bad for staff too.
PW Naked wasn't afraid to yap to Kaz. People change over the years though, maybe if he was swapped in Venom's place he would do the same. He's supposed to be brainwashed with Naked's memories and personality.

I wish they had pushed that plot point further. Venom is very in favor of using child soldiers, and then Kaz brushes him off and it's never mentioned again? For all the prerelease talks of Venom "becoming a demon", he never really does anything too brutal, and his suggestions of brutality are always shot down by Kaz or Ocelot
