I was a big Godzilla fanboy since I was a kid. I was pissed King Kong won in the original King Kong vs. Godzilla, but it made sense based on the movies at the time. But I don't see how the current Godzilla can lose to current King Kong. New Zilla is like 100 feet taller and weighs 10x or more than new Kong. No way Kong stands any fucking chance.

Godzilla will win but kong will put up a fight. Hes still growing and I think they'll give him a speed advantage as well as being more resourceful in a fight. If you recall in kong he was swinging trees around like a baseball bat, and went full on kratos with that giant chain. Plus he could definitely out wrestle godzilla but godzilla can do more damage with fewer attacks for sure.

I don't think it's fair to compare Shin Godzilla to any of the modern Godzilla adaptions and works. It's a throwback to Godzilla's original purpose as the central plot element driving the message of the story rather than a monster beat-em-up he was commercialized into.
