Xenoblade Chronicles X is the best fucking game ever made. Holy shit it's good. I thought I was just over playing vidya until I got it, and it reignited a spark I hadn't felt since the first Xenoblade. The scale of the game is just ridiculous, and I spent a good 20 hours just exploring the world and ignoring the story once I had the chance. The combat works on several levels so that it almost never gets boring, and there's always some new autistic build to grind for in the endgame. For at least your first 70 hours of gameplay you can literally just load up the game, walk/drive/fly in a random direction and see where curiosity takes you. You might discover a new area, cave, quest, terrifying enemy with 3 million HP, weapon that lets you do a new build, etc. The main plot is handled horribly but it has soul, and on paper it's fascinating. The sidequests make up far more cumulative content than the main story and revolve around all manner of fucked up shit while also maintaining an Archie style small town community that you can get way too invested in. And the mech designs make my dick hard and I want to use that dick to fuck Celica and Mia simultaneously.

Timesplitters 2 is literally the best game ever made and I can objectively prove it. Great soundtrack, level design, level editor with story options that can be added. Extremely fun challenge and custom arcade mode. Solid story with difficulty done right. Local multiplayer, but Bots as well. Variety of game modes (virus). Has it ever been topped?

Play Dominions 5. You can have giant cannibalistic jews fight viking elves, you can destroy enemy armies with a single spellcaster, you can pimp out units with magic items until they are a raid boss, you can coordinate with other players then stab them in the back, you can make the most meme bless possible then shit all over other players with it (or die horribly). It's fun.

The whole Quintet trilogy is prime shit. But Soul Blazer was the first one I played and the most memorable, along with Illusion. I didn't play Terranigma until later on, like a decade ago, so it doesn't have quite the same nostalgia, but it is a really great game too.

Everyone should play Zombies Ate My Neighbors. It's sort of a cult classic, but it absolutely deserves to be a classic. Level, after level of unforgiving arcadey goodness with a stellar OST. The only drawback, and admittedly it's a huge one, is that items you pick up will remain in the order you picked them up. It would greatly benefit from a quick swap wheel.

this is not my favourite game, but go play it, it's really fucking fun rc car racer with powerups and shit. the car physics are fun, tracks are really varied and some are quite challenging, and overall it's a pretty well done little game. there's even a modern fan rewrite called RVGL that works on modern systems without any emulators or anything in full hd, so you have no excuse.
