Fulgore would be an amazing historical pick because originally Killer Instinct was the game they were promoting the N64 with before the delay from 1995 to 1996 (As Mario 64 simply wasn't ready) but Banjo would sell way more passes. Some of the best ever themes in fighting games though

They could probably do a really simplified version of the combo system that allows the opponent to break and a down B where if you time it right it can break a combo using a stick tilt + A but if he lands the Opener -> Linker -> Ender he does big damage. His final Smash could work the same as Ryu where it's an overcharge beam at a distance but if he catches you in range, it's an Ultra Combo. Depends on what Sakurai thinks because they did have plans for some Rare characters in Melee but Nintendo advised them not to go ahead
