Ahem

A body has been discovered! It seems Banjo is dead, so I'll be taking his place in Smash Ultimate. Puhuhu... see you soon.

can't call a body announcement without 3 sources seeing it first

inb4 3rd source shenanigans.

All rumors of my death has been greatly exaggerated. Now Erdrick, on the other hand.

>monokuma gets in smash
>3 stocks someone
>the victory scene is a 3 hour trial on whether or not he killed them

you just know they would ruin in final smash

If it's not a different execution for each character themed specifically around them, it's shit

>70+ different executions
That's a bit much, at least make it a different execution for each series represented. Maybe use the canon Blast-Off execution for 3rd party/DLC characters.

is this the supposed 'fuck drumpf' moment people keep shouting about?

Third Parties have some of the best potential for executions, though.

Yeah I was mostly exaggerating there I don't expect them to actually do that if he got in, I was just thinking about how it would be difficult to incorporate the true spirit of Danganronpa into the game considering how the gameplay and characters of Danganronpa function, but it definitely would be nice if they did an execution per series.

Yeah, but you think Squeenix is going to agree to have Cloud executed in a violent and hilariously ironic way?

Your game isn't on the switch lol

>Weebshit
We all know banjo isn't coming but neither is this shit

And Persona 5 is?

Objection!
Not so so fast Monokuma. Your series has not history of ever being on a Nintendo console, unlike my series which has stuck with Nintendo since the GBA. I think it makes more logical sense that I replace Banjo in Smash.

Okay, fair point. I bet getting to write deaths for all those characters would be a dream job for Kodaka, though.

I can't believe I forgot the fucking pic

OBJECTION!
The DLC is supposed to bring in a new audience, but Pheonix Wright is a Nintendo veteran, while Monokuma has far more appeal with the youth!

>Didn't use 'No that's wrong!'

I'm sorry user I'm tired

HOLD IT!
Thanks to the trilogy rereleases on Switch, PC, and other consoles the Ace Attorney series has been exposed to more people than ever and has much more relevance than Danganronpa as of the present. Also, with the potential announcement of Ace Attorney 7 sometime this year having Phoenix in Smash makes perfect sense from a marketing perspective as a way to garner hype.

shitendoodoo ruining another serie with smashshit

No, that's wrong!
As Cloud and Joker have proven, not appearing on a Nintendo console/handheld doesn't affect your chances of entering Smash!

Well gang I guess we should start and split up for some clues.

But now Banjo is the blackened!

>his final Smash is a different execution each time
I want this. What would his moveset be though? Should he be paired up with Junko, since Smash doesn't give a shit about spoilers? Maybe in a Duck Hunt Duo kinda way.
upupupu

Sore wa chigau yo
Sorry Phoenix, only greatness is allowed into smash and you... are trash barely befitting to even be called a stepping stone.
Get a 5 and I might change my mind you talent-less "normal".

That and the Fake News bit in the first chapter, it's honestly pretty easy to ignore.

>Junko
Fuck that shit, Monokuma stands alone. He should get a moveset built off of all the different executions since he tends to do a lot of work in each of those. Maybe call in Monomi or the Monokubs too.

>Thought this would be a comfy DR thread
>Read the op and realized its yet another smashshitter thread

Based Monokuma. Upupupu. Hopefully you get in

>Dance Bullet
>Knockback Bullet
Too easy.

Get that Junko shit outta here, there was a great moveset someone posted here a while ago. Copy-pasted below:

(1/2)
>Neutral Attack: Two basic punches, then a claw swipe.
>F-tilt: Attacks with a solid punch, in the same stance he hits Monomi with.
>U-tilt: Monokuma Tai Chi pose. Has a tricky delay.
>D-tilt: Casually hits opponent with a shot put ball into the ground. Bury power.
>Dashes are like how he runs toward Komaru she is spotted in Another Episode. Dash Attack is a nasty bite with his sharp teeth.
>Dodges are fairly generic, he steps out of the way, but he does sweat like in one of his character stills.
>Forward Smash is a Justice Hammer, which gets larger and more powerful with charging.
>Up Smash is him sending up a Spear of Gugnir.
>Down Smash is dropping a large fish that attacks by flailing.
>Neutral Ariel is him spinning around in the air with his gavel, like he does right before executions in V3. Kind of like Shulk's, but slower and less ranged.
>Forward Aerial is a steel baseball bat swiping down.
>Up Aerial is quickly thrusting the MEAT ON THE BONE skewer upward.
>Back Aerial is like the forward, but uses a barbell instead.
>Down Aerial is a diving down with a katana blade. Major spike potential.
>Grab uses the unbreakable toilet paper.
>Pummel is Monokuma throwing them down and then holding out a mini scythe that they bounce back into.
>All Monokuma's throws involve him self destructing and creating a mini-explosion that blasts the opponent away, then harmlessly reforming immediately after.
>Floor attacks use a kitchen knife
>Edge attack uses the block end of a Spear of Gugnir.
>Neutral Special is Wild West Insecticide, he shoots a robot bee from a gun that homes in and does continual damage on foes, is pretty weak and slow, plus the bees die quick for balance.

(2/2)
>Forward Special is Stampede, summoning a rideable animal (or sometimes firetruck) to rush across the field. Faster and harder hitting than villager's gyroid, but will fall if there isn't a platform under it.
>Up Special is Bye Bye Ouchies, he summons a rocket fist and rides it at 45 degrees back to the platforms.
>Down Special is Thousand Knocks, summons a baseball throwing machine that fires until someone hits it or it times out.
>Final Smash would be either unique five second executions to each series, or more likely, Space Journey.
>Taunts include him pulling out the Monokub kill button, Upupupu Laugh, and the Dance bullet dance from Another Episode

>wins every trial he's in, has caused even the most hardened criminals to break down and confess their crimes, can cross-examine animals
>talentless normal

>June 11st
>Trailer starts with a view of the jabberwock island beach
>a letter slowly falls to the ground near the water
>you can hear footsteps
>slowly you begin to see the shadow of a young boy with messy hair standing before the letter
>huh?, What's this?
>heh... Smash brothers?, this could be a great stepping stone for hope!
>KOMAEDA HOPES FOR A GOOD FIGHT

Attached: 20190524_122520.png (654x824, 224K)

If monokuma gets in and pic related isn't his side special it's going to be a disappointment

>vn shit in smash
Not on my watch.
