How would a Halloween video game look like?
How would a Halloween video game look like?
Hopefully they give the Friday the Thirteenth guys the license and they make a next gen game around it. The original Halloween shits all over F13. 2 is also pretty great.
Probably something like Jason's game or DBD, except a little more close quarters.
like this
After the fucking debacle that was the Friday the 13th game I'm not sue I trust those guys. Also they're busy making a Predator game now.
>except a little more close quarters.
Fuck that noise, it needs to be a 1:1 recreation of the neighborhood and school featured in the original and then a separate map that's the hospital in 2, the shamrock novelties factory from 3 including the motel. Small maps would suck when they have such great setpieces to work with
I played it for the first time a month ago and absolutely loved it. Sure it is heavily flawed but it is a ton of fun. Chasing 12 year olds around as Jason is unbeatable
Sounds even better than what I said. Any ideas on abilities? It'd be cool to see Michael be able to find and use different weapons like knives, axes, shit like that
I mean appearing in random places is a given, might be hard to pull off accurately with that style of map so maybe have a few jump to points randomized. I'd want to see more skills like walking through doors in gif related , more customization so different Michael's play differently to keep the human players on their toes. I'd also like to see much more randomization. Maybe a pure mode that restricts players and Michael variants to the scenario then a more free-play where you can have non-canon shit happen in different maps. Another cool mode would be a pure mode where Michael has to kill people in order as in the films but most normies haven't actually watched them and then you'd get the odd movie like 3 where it wouldn't make much sense
The only reason the game's development sort of just fizzled out was the writer of the first movie going full kike.
Dead by Daylight
so is Dead by Daylight better? Consider I'm a big fan of horror movies so the recreations and nods to shit in F13 were really important to me
It doesn't really try to be a horror movie, it just does its own thing.
is it at least fun? Not surer how much I'd enjoy that desu but if it ever goes on sale I might pick it up just to see what it's like
dbd is all about competitive meta gaming. it's not fun unless youre an ultra-autist solo killer that knows every quirk in the game and how to exploit them, or you have a squad of friends to play with and it won't matter if you lose because it's still fun to play with friends
Do you have three friends who also own the game and play quite regularly? If so, then yes it will be.

DBD is only fun when you're with friends or playing a Killer that doesn't have to camp for kills. FF13 could have been the superior game if they empowered Tommy more so it didn't feel so shit being the first guy to get tunneled by Jason. And the grab needed to be enhanced a bit so people didn't have to play him like the Nurse.
The game was already in a pretty bad state before that
And having to halt development didn't really help.
Just do Manhunt 3: murder sim
You're right, but they said that they're done even after/if the lawsuit gets resolved so I'm generally of the opinion that they wanted an excuse to quit working on it.
If you like slashers. Play DBD. It has Myers, Freddy and leatherface
By the time it does get resolved, which could be years from now, the game is likely to be completely forgotten.
and Pigface from Saw, as well as Ghost Face is being added on June 14th
Yes. That's why they're making Predator.
The true horror of Myers that no matter how long you try and run he will still stalk you with autistic levels of obsession. How can you even make a working game out of it without resorting to AHG?
