Its most likely for glam.Tanking gear from HW raid teirs are all great looking.

Go to your closest market board and buy an i380 Raskasa weapon. If you have the money to spare you can even go for the full set and skip the gearing process completely.
You can upgrade that equipment to i390 using Mendacity as well.

If you don't have the money your only real option is to grind out whatever the highest ilvl dungeon/ 24man you have access to is while slowly accumulating Genesis to buy i390 pieces which you can later augment to i400 when you either do Savage raiding or grind out the 24mans for tokens.

Don't do this unless you hate yourself and want to hate yourself even more

If SE really wants to balance this game, Verraise and Ressurection must go away from RDM and SMN. I still see party finders avoiding BLM even in farm groups, even though BLM is the superior DPS right now. It's incredible how much crap BLM gets simply for not having a raise.

I expect BLMs DPS to be absolutely awful like it was at 4.0.

You should start right now if you want to play gunbreaker at ShB launch. I'd recommend picking a tank class so you learn to tank while leveling up and then you won't feel that muchdifference when switching for gnb. I think you need a lvl 70 class to unlock gnb in shb. With that said, I also think you should level up a dps while doing the main story quest because its a pain to level up dps jobs because of the queue times while you can just spam dungeons while leveling healer and tank classes.

It's also going to dump all your MP so unless you're quadruple flaring it isn't worth a shit.

RDM is getting a skill called Engagement that shares a cooldown with Displacement so that you can still get that damage in situations where you'd backflip off a cliff.

On Tuesday before EA, pick up HW and SB hunts, and start pre-farming challenge log. Commendations/dungeons/levequests/FATES even guildhests, just take care not to accidentally complete them.

Then on Friday run to the job trainer, become a GNB/DNC and queue for leveling dungeon, and hope queues aren't too fucked. While waiting, do the hunts you picked up before, then pick up new ones and do those. Do a levequest and FATE to finish those challenge logs, then do HW Vanu/Vath beast tribe dailies, then SB Kojin/Ananta ones. Hopefully by now you've gotten queue to pop and upon finishing the dungeon you should be lvl 61.

From then on try to not get brain damage from running HoH 21-30 about 32 times which should take 8-9 hours.

Really stating out a peronal FC with friends is the best option if you can manage it. Most MMOs are cliquey by nature, so it' shard to establish new relationships unless you really hit it off.
