There's a fucking reason why Cage's and Scorpions' fatalities are the best ones on this game, they focus on either doing cool shit or making you laugh, not on "lmao look at this gross shit"

Both of their fatalities are over the top in line with the others. Scorpion no scopes your head without looking with his spear. I really do like that one.

I didn't say this wasn't the case, I said that their focus wasn't on the actual gore. Cage's either ends with him getting booed by the crowd and thrown tomatoes at for his godawful dad jokes, or having to redo the same move over and over in a movie set. It's a joke.

I was mostly refering to the other fatality of Scorpion though, the one that ends with him being the center of atention of the camera after ripping the opponent in half. That shit is wallpaper tier.

I understand now. Those are good ones despite having little gore. They don’t reply on it. The gore seems to be held back on at times. It’s almost like they don’t want to cross a line with violence even though that’s what people like. Compare Mortal Kombat X’s fatalities to the ones in Mortal Kombat 11 and you’ll see a drastic change in tone. Less dark and more stylized.

It's for the best honestly, I just wish they just had fun with the fatalities instead of having to choose style over gore when they could very easily have both.
