She has by far the most dull and unimaginative moveset of the four in X (which is saying a lot because a couple of the others were pretty dull too), and is also still duller than Jacqui in 11. Kung Jin was distinct at least, just not particularly likeable or memorable.

In Cassie and Jacqui's cases you can maybe make a case for their presence only if their dads aren't also playable, they don't have enough confidence in these shitty new characters to ditch the older ones that people actually like. Ideally you'd just have Johnny and Jax there, no Cassie or Jacqui, and have either Stryker or maybe Erron for the "guns" character. Don't think anyone really cares much about Sonya either so maybe drop her too?

No. You passively earn currency for the krypt, endless single player content, each char has dedicated content to get some of their own gear and skins.
It is a grind late game if you want to collect all skins and gear. Loads of timed stuff ect. The main issue is finding a specific cosmetic you want, especially because of timed towers or krypt rng.
Best to just passively do towers and forget about going for specific gear you want, but just use what you have.
The rng is annoying as are timed towers but the gameplay is solid, which is the more important thing. Everything else is just cosmetic.
