They added apaches

Is Faithful still the most kino texture pack?

Attached: faithful-32x32-resource-pack.png (825x510, 490K)

I can hear the music already. I'm coming home.

On the off chance this isn't just another thread to complain about hunger, yes a lot has changed

most recent updates made changes to the ocean, water physics, villages, mob interactions
ever since 1.13 nucraft has been pretty good after the dark period of 1.9 to 1.12, and i'm hoping the release of games like hytale are gonna provide some competition to improve minecraft further

Wasn't there always hunger in the game? And it's a genuine thread.

i started up a single player world a couple months ago and play every couple days, added a fuckton of new mechanics but overall i forgot how fun the game is

What was your best creation anons?

a giant obsidian cock

There's water niggers and sky niggers now. That's about it.

It's never happening

Post it

i've been playing this fucking game since beta and i still can't build to save my life. i genuinely dont have the patience to make more than a basic 2 story wooden house while my friends are building insane multi-layered houses with unreal depth and planning.
am i dumb or are they autistic?

Attached: 1552989434659.jpg (401x401, 42K)

That's pretty fucking good

No it was added late beta, but quick list of important changes,
villagers can now sell nice armour/weapons/tools if you trade with them to level them up,
there is useless coloured stone everywhere now,
zombies can't swim very well anymore and if they spend 30 seconds underwater they turn into a "drowned" these also spawn in all bodies of water at or beĺow sea level, drowned can drop tridents which hit hard or can be thrown,
Fish are now mobs independent of fishing system and can be killed for raw food,
Sleep when you can otherwise annoying flying undead will attack you at night
A bit of new Redstone stuff

> i genuinely dont have the patience to make more than a basic 2 story wooden house
2 Stories can be fine depending on how you build it. I've been playing since Early 2012 (Although I've taken long breaks often) Since 2017 I've been building quite well and detailing more to make stuff stand out. So on the topic of you being dumb, Maybe.

Ray tracing and ultra realism is the future of minecraft.

That looks great

Dont you have to shill a guy on patreon to get a ray tracing mod?

Just slap a shitton of mods on it. Only way to enjoy Minecraft desu, no idea how people play vanilla.

That's nice. Your helper will be along soon to pick you up user.

I'm playing on PS4.

I'm sorry user

Quick what are the best mods/modpacks to make exploration fun? Loot, structures, monsters weapons, stuff like that.

Attached: 1379202311471.gif (320x240, 1.84M)

There aren't any vanilla faction servers anymore

My rail system, I'm very proud of it

Attached: Vanskeleg jarnveg.png (1892x936, 1.05M)

shouldve gone full autism and played terrafirmacraft when it was in early development

Without bashing on nu-minecraft; which mods make minecraft comfy again?
I would like to get rid of hunger and need for sleep for example

Same.
It also had a lava coating to further piss off my friend whose quaint little chalet was overviewing my huge ass fucking obsidian niggercock.
Also the rest of our friends strip mined the shit out of everything around his mountain.
Since then he sent us to live at least 60000 blocks away.

I want to play minecraft right now but I don't know any youtube videos to watch, and I can't play minecraft without watching anime youtubers. Maybe I can find something but it's hard.
Okay will just watch a shitty Slayers review I guess

all the japaNIPS youtubers keep playing minecraft

>music
Pleb. Real home is the version that had no music yet.

>using gravel as a foundation

That the very nice rail system you have here

Attached: Creeper.png (454x926, 132K)

Yeah this fucking thing flies around and just constantly fucks with you if you don't sleep for 3 days

Can you dab is Minecraft?

I just kind of make houses and rooms and shit based on necessity and they end up looking okay, then I'll add a few details here and there like windows and shit
I've never been good at actually building shit for the purpose of looking good though, and my legitimately autistic friend doesn't even build shit to look good either

I don't know about the best, but a buddy and me once built a massive pyramid and filled it to the brim with puzzle/trap rooms. Wish I still had any screenshots.

nope, just spawns some blue bird which cant get you inside your house

Attached: FLAOT1.png (985x911, 1.12M)

>they finally add floating island generation via buffet mode
>you can only choose one biome
What's the point?

Attached: 1554897847911.jpg (500x455, 33K)

Would be way too easy without gravel.

Gravel is actually probably the material I spend the most time mining.

But is there a world download of FLAOT? I'd instantly grab it to test my building skills with natural stuff.

Have any of you played on the /int/craft server?

No, you can get it for free here.
yiff.party/patreon/4847727

intcraft is super dead

I have as a rule that I always need gravel beneath the rails, but there actually is one exception in one location. I allowed the use of rail directly on iron blocks, because I needed to get under a glass roof while allowing boats to pass below the rails.
Iron is so expensive it doesn't feel that much like cheating, I consider this to be okay.

Attached: Rail without gravel.jpg (1908x968, 898K)

so is that site basically just free patreon shit?

My rails probably look more impressive if you see them on the map

Attached: minecraft world cut.png (2608x1648, 3.77M)

Fuck that's really good, that actually inspires me to make something similar

paradoxically i always wanted them to reimplement finite worlds, they always had something in them that appealed to me + the generation options were absolutely gold

Looks like shit, why did all the good texture packs fucking disappear? All I can find are these awful "realistic" texture packs and super minimalist garbage, I just want some nice appealing 64 bit sprite looking texture packs that remind me of PS1 sprite RPG's.
I miss painterly pack.

you can still use painterly, just gotta fill in the new textures yourself

>i've been playing this fucking game since beta
Ha I've been playing since pre alpha, and I can only build occasionally at the bare minimum of quality if I try really hard

Attached: 9Uqc2nh.png (1080x801, 825K)

If people feel inclined to upload yeah

Opinions on Broville?

Gonna host a server for my regular group of friends.
Normally I just rent a server for $5-10 a month, but this website says it'll host for free.
minehut.com/
Anyone tried it before? It seems like there's got to be a catch, nothing is ever truly free.

Nice, I'll have to keep an eye on this site in case I find a patreon with some good stuff

I don't have any picks, but me and my friend made a really cool Castle on a super high up mountain.

it still costs money past a certain limit

So I'm assuming that they let you play for free until you hit some kind of limit like world size, then hold your server hostage and demand money?

yea

I've always been a fan of BDcraft. But vanilla is still the best.

The best way to learn how to build is to find something on youtube or google and copy it.

I played Minecraft in 2012 then stopped until like 2 weeks ago when I got it on sale for the Switch. It’s comfy af, especially being able to play anywhere on the Switch

found two skeleton spawners at the bottom of a cave right next to each other, turned them both into a single, double-fed XP grinder, then later decided to dig out a large underground floor above it with spawning pads and water paths that dropped mobs several blocks away from the skeleton spawner. the 1x1 drop meant it could only fit zombies and creepers, and the hole went to skylight, so the zombies would burn up during the daytime leaving only the creepers. then i used a piston to open a viewable hole to the skeleton grinder so i'd stand to one side of the skeletons and creepers, therefore creating a record grinder. i had so many copies of every record that i went around leaving complete collections of records in random player homes.

i was proud of it because it was made entirely of my existing knowledge of the game mechanics

focus on the shape of the building first, lay out the foundation before building anything else

an automated trading machine that would dispense gold nuggets for materials
saved a screenie of the wiring years ago apparently

Attached: 2015-04-12_20.49.07.png (854x480, 157K)

was that after or before adventure update? Basically that update ruined the game so much that all the adults just stopped playing. but so much shit has been added and tweaked since then that it's not so bad now.

bedrock anons post your gamertags so we can play together
NoelSnowpix

What are you using to generate that world map?

A program called uNmINeD (unmined)

Shit. I don't play any version beyond 1.7.

I only ever played this on pc.

2 questions
- is the switch version playable?
- is transition from mouse to stick a difficult one?

Cheers

Is it pointless to wait for mods to update to 1.14 because of most mods preferring 1.12?

Attached: I Give up 3.png (298x301, 132K)

>is the switch version playable?
the switch version actually runs better than the PC version
>is transition from mouse to stick a difficult one?
I'm pretty sure you can use kb+m on switch in docked mode, I only play with a controller though

On one creation server, me and a friend in middleschool found some person made some mlp creations, so over night when the mods and such were sleeping we made it look like the ponies were sucking and taking a bunch of big white dicks and covered the ponies with white wool.

It was pretty funny and we never got caught. I think it made her cry.

I don't like the meme much, but this is honestly as soulless as you can get

what the FUCK is the point of andesite and diorite?
I get granite because at least it looks cool, but the other 2 look like complete trash and can't be used for fucking anything

youtube.com/watch?v=5jD0mELZPD8

>not using them for floor tiling

>BDcraft

Attached: disgusting.jpg (259x194, 14K)

soulless

Huh? How is it better?

Yes, mods can cover almost all the new content from the update and more.

Thoughts on shaders Yea Forums? i personally like them
