I've only been to erotic/comic cons before and the smell can get pretty bad, but I don't think it's because most of them don't shower. I think it's because a lot of people travel from far away and have been up for hours under stress or being in way too hot train cabins that causes them to sweat. Or they just sleep in the car. They don't really have an option to just go shower. That's reserved for the """press""" that booked the nearest hotels full.

In summer, I wash mostly everyday but winter or even spring. Only wash once a week.
