Valkyria Chronicles 1 is the only game I've ever dropped because it was too retardedly anime.
Neptunia, Atelier, Senran Kagura, all fine, all games I've paid good money for and enjoyed, but VC pushed the anime cliches so far and they were so bad it became unbearable. Hearing and seeing that 4 is worse is crazy.

I'm all for more of the same, but VC4 imitated VC1 a bit TOO much. At least change the UI a bit and add some QOL improvements so it doesn't feel like just an expansion.
The story was cool though and the missions in general were much better than VC1.
