Just beat orphan of kos first go. apparently, people spent hours and even days trying to beat this nigga
Beginners luck.
pretty much, i'm not gonna argue it
This. That manchild kicked my ass so many times.
The problem with most of the people is that they use guides. And read things about 'i iframes', etc. before they even start and playing the game.
I have never read a guide, but did most of the bosses in DeS, DS (1-3) and Bloodborne in the first two tries.
>can easily beat him on NG7
>summon 1 or 2 people just to watch them die so I can fight him with bloated health
Get on my level scrubs
Is there any boss universally agreed upon to be hard in the Souls games? It seems that people struggle with different bosses a lot.
Pinwheel
pretty neat how you can capture the fight after your done, went back and watched it and yeah i got super fucking lucky, had no idea how fucking crazy this cunt is. Isshin taught me not to hesitate and i pretty much didn't because i had no idea what to expect
Maria is harder if you don't abuse parry. Orphan is a great boss but it's difficulty is seriously overrated
I was having a hard time with him, until I learned you can just stagger him with a well timed R2.
Laurence is a harder fight since he can easily trap you in a combo due to the small arena + the shitty camera.
Nah i didn't parry at all through the game, literally hit or miss so i two handed my way through
O&S and Orphan are generally considered to be hard by almost everyone. O&S are still the hardest guys in the entire series for me and I’ve beaten every game multiple times
>first run bloodborne
>play with hammer
>no guns
>whole game is a cakewalk
>no need for "critical" parry
parry is the lamest shit and stimulated the try--hard plebbit audience
>not beating him in NG7 at BL1 with donkey kong bongos
fucking casual
never parried too. Just hit and avoid dmg.
Same here, but with Maria, lost 4 rounds to Living Failures though.
crazy how it be like that, what should i play next after i beat the final boss, nioh or das2?
Nioh if you like rhythm games. DaS2 If you want a soulsborne game.
Mistook nioh with sekiro
I killed him in about seven times. I don't think you can count that as beginners luck.
He's just actually pretty slow and has really obvious openings and telegraphs his attacks. I mean just compare him to Maria in that regard.
In general Bloodborne for me was the easiest game besides Demon's Souls. Maybe on a similar level to Sekiro.
Nioh is way better than Sekiro
I'd add Fume Knight to the list as well, shitty rod gimmick aside he's one of the best examples of tough but fair boss fight
>struggled with Orphan first time taking almost a dozen tries
>hop on game over a year after I beat him to show Bloodborne to my brother
>go to Orphan to show him how hard it is
>beat Orphan first try
I still don’t know how I did I it
>load up BB first time in a year
>forgot I got a slim ps4, save file gone
>start over
>character proportions look like gumbi
>silky smooth 7fps
>BLAAAAAAAAAARGH Birds obnoxious as fuck
I don’t think I can stomach another run desu
You unlocked your potential
Sekiro then, Dark Souls 2 is total crap. If you have a shread of will in you then just don't play it. I did and it was one of the biggest gaming wastes of time in my life.
>BLAAAAAAAAAARGH Birds obnoxious as fuck
And yet compared to Dark Souls III, somehow things scream less in Bloodborne. Speaking of Dark Souls III, how is that guy doing with putting Bloodborne's levels into Dark Souls III? That actually looked interesting.
Id only ever beatin Orphan once too. I struggled with Ludwig more which I think is the easier fight
Bait
Didn't have too much trouble with Orphan. Ludwig destroyed my anus though
Which part?
This, Laurence absolutely wrecked my shit
>just won 100 million in the lottery, people spend their entire life savings on lottery tickets to win and still don't win that shit
What is anecdotal evidence.
You can beat Orphan first try, but can you have sex? I don't think so?
Something similar happened to me, but with FFX. Was going to show a friend how difficult Dark Valefor fight was (first time facing a Dark Aeon) and I accidentally just kill it, using Anima and Magus Sisters overdrives.
>Beginners luck.
I beat him on my first try in my first playthrough. Moonlight Holy Sword is OP as fuck in both forms, it was a mistake to award it before Orphan.
Congratulations. Around 4 months ago I did the same. Parrying parrying parrying. Then a month later, tried again. I died various times because I wanted to finish him off with a parry, since I had the 3 heir runes equipped. Yes, I know. I deserved those deaths. It was the same all those years ago, dying a fucking lot of times against FF8's Omega Weapon (or was it Ultima?) because I wanted to absorb every-fucking-thing from it before killing that shit.
1) its dumb to compare simply "i beat x boss in y tries". i mean what if you're level 500 or some shit, or what if you're level 1 at ng+7? it changes things. and 2) congrats tho orphan is a fun fight. also people find diff things hard in souls games so whatever.
Champion gundyr was a tough fight imo
Blood level?
93
never had sex i'm volcel gang even though your point still stands
nah i didn't make this thread to toot my own honk, i died like 10 times to laurence a couple hours ago
>nah i didn't make this thread to toot my own honk, i died like 10 times to laurence a couple hours ago
That wasn't even remotely the point of my post.
Oh yeah? Well I beat him in my zero try. Faggot. Git gud
