Does this count? Not a trailer in the traditional sense but they did such a good job with it. m.youtube.com
>tfw this is the trailer that sold me on getting FO76
Don't know what people saw in this trailer. It was kind of shit.
Gears of War trailer with Mad World. That shit was iconic.
Deus Ex HR real actor trailer with the fake arm that people thought was real.
Damn, Fallout can look like that one day?
>Gears of War trailer with Mad World. That shit was iconic.

Say whatever you want about the game but you cannot deny the kino of this composition.
Honestly I always heard about how great the game was but was never interested and I never would have been if it weren't for this trailer. It's the whole reason I bought the game in the first place.

What company do you think has consistently had the worst trailers in the past few years?
Pokemon has very underwhelming trailers.
youtube.com
>"Pray harder, cause it ain't working"
shit still sends chill down my spine, see the survivors use melee weapons got me extremely excited and the french quarter locale looked awesome
Oh shit I just noticed this trailer turned 10 years old today, time flies man
Both This War of Mine trailers have great songs

I wonder if any teenagers got DA:O simply because of these trailer and because they thought it some kind of action game.
Still one of my favorite

Much like the one in the OP it generated hype and the game was utter trash
What the fuck? It's the most un-fallout trailer they could have possibly made and it was enough for me to make me NOT buy it.

And I'm not sure if this one counts as "trailer".
youtube.com
I like this one better
youtube.com
Still gives me chills.
They even put in some gameplay. That's how you do a trailer. Shame about the game tho.
Thanks for reminding me about this kino.

All trailers are inherently bad. Doing a trailer instead of a demo for a video game would be like a musician releasing a paragraph blurb about his new album would sound like instead of a single. Or, indeed, a movie company doing a text description instead of a trailer.
fuck the time before V released was amazing
Elegia trailer for MGSV for probably the best trailer for a game I have ever seen, shame the game itself was such a disappointment and a waste of time and killed any good faith I had in Kojima.
Nothing will EVER beat this trailer. Ever.
so many poor victims of the phantom pain
>hearing the full song years later in King Arthur
that was something unexpected
Kino trailer. Shame about the game
youtube.com
>when all the siths light up their sabers
Seriously too good. Although all the other cinematics they had were good too.
it definitely made us think it was some story driven game with possible zombie survival mechanics
and then it came out
At least it had really nice open world and co-op.
>really nice open world
>1 damage
>1damage
>1 damage
>1 damage
>1 damage
So glad we got a zombie themed wow clone instead of a good game.
I don't have children, and am misanthropic in a way where if I accidentally run over someone in my car and hear their bones crunch in the middle of nowhere with no witnesses or cameras, I'd literally just keep driving and not even care.
But this trailer makes me tear up whenever I take the time to re-watch the whole thing in fullscreen every fucking time.
Do you also have a wicked sense of humor?
You sure you don't just suck at the game? When I played it I never had such problems with dmg.
this reminds me of those live action codmw commercials with normies doing badass combat, so embarassing
Testament to how good that trailer is
This thing was beautiful and had me so hype
Wish they'd just stop doing this seasonal bullshit
How young are you jesus
>musician releasing a paragraph blurb about his new album would sound like
>a movie company doing a text description
These happen constantly and people find them useful. Is conceptualisation difficult for you? Infact, a movie being described through text is literally the beginning of making one, without a script and production notes you are basically not going to get anything made.
I appreciate you wanted to say something interesting or unique but you're just being dumb bro

Ass Creed trailers are usually good watches, but Brotherhood's always sticks out in my memory
Someone else will probably go with Revelations' if just for the song
I fucking hate video games. Fuck Bethesda and their take on Fallout

Dark souls Bartholomew trailer was dope
For me it's the Fallout 4 commercial

Sequel never ever

This trailer made me buy the game inmediately.

And people say can't pull off a movie. This makes me want to play Fallout again.

I love this trailer so much
Probably because it was the last of Ezio's tale.
And woodkid
>this game was actually big enough to be on a superbowl commercial
Wow, times were different back then. I remember it being popular, but not like this. Nowadays no one really knows this game.
????
>2011
Jesus. That trailer made me think it was from like 2015 or something. Is the game still worth playing?
looks horrible
that makes perfect sense because no true fan of FF7 would even touch this abomination with a long stick.
Kino. So bitter sweet.
nah its garbage gameplay wise -- only worth it if you want to see how Ezio's story ended
I'll never forget the sheer excitement I got when I first saw this as a teenager.
The Revengeance trailer had me pretty hyped at the time, probably because of the song choice
youtube.com
youtube.com
this trailer got me so hype back in the day
holy fuck what is this NPC music? disgraceful
>tfw i was an adult even back then'
>tfw im still the same height and look the same

this trailer is great
In terms of gameplay, it's no better or worse than other AC games. The enemies with guns are a bit more obnoxious than usual, and some parts of the city had a lack of quality testing that can make them feel clunkier than previous titles, but it would be hard to notice if you weren't specifically trying to jank around with things. At worst, you may occasionally miss a jump or fail to climb a wall that looks climbable. They added what boils down to a tower defense minigame for the assassin mentoring stuff that isn't particularly fun, but isn't annoying or frustrating.
The real sell is the story. While it's nothing particularly groundbreaking in terms of narrative, it does give Ezio a satisfying and emotionally fulfilling send off. It has the pleasure of being a satisfying end to a trilogy, which happens somewhat infrequently.
Overall, a solid 6/10 workhorse game that will be an 8 or a 9 if you really dig Ezio's story.
Is this the recent King Arthur movie? I remember seeing the trailer and that I was going to watch it, but I forgot about it. It's been a year or two now right? That scene looks quite kino.
> it does give Ezio a satisfying and emotionally fulfilling send off. It has the pleasure of being a satisfying end to a trilogy, which happens somewhat infrequently.

It annoys me how shit The Crew 2 is compared to the first one, even though it isn't really all THAT much different.
I still like the game.
Someone have the link to that korean insurance ad that uses the music from the trailer?
January 2017 Breath of the Wild trailer is kino
This hyped me up like a couple months ago when I bought FO3 and decided to play it without FO1 and 2. I see what people mean by it being so different from 76.
not a trailer
but still can't compete

It's worth a watch if you like Guy Ritchie's style.

The trailer that sold everyone on this game
Lul, I still remember the Dead Island trailer and then the reveal that the game was another lolsorandumb xxddd Dead Rising clone.
Hey I remember seeing this in a War of Kino thread. Shame no game looks like this, but you get the same feel at least.
Nobody mentioned Witcher 2?

Fucking Train Simulator

I've heard it's great fun in co-op but all the talk about terrible performance puts me off.

The Total Warhammer 2 Prophet and Warlock DLC trailer just because of its shot-for-shot duplication of the jungle-shootup scene from Predator
Most misleading. Game is absolute ass:

You colossal inbred
Was about to post this. It was really cool.
I was already convinced in not buying 76 since the first moment todd announce it, this shit make me cringe so fucking bad.
>trailers are a miniseries
youtube.com
yep this is it, best trailer ever made
This post made me remember all those misleading trailers where it's not gameplay, but I can't remember their names.

How much this changed
MGSV Redband trailer was kino, the game was shit tho
