Will Bioware have time to remaster their only good game before they get shut down?
Will Bioware have time to remaster their only good game before they get shut down?
no
it doesn't need a remaster
The only thing that would save Dragon Age would be an RPG set in the Tevinter Imperium where the player controls a degenerate Magister that tries to make Tevinter Great again while fighting a race war against the Qunari and indulging in his most perverted fantasies with his slaves.
>ea
>remastering games ever
user you a silly bitch for this one
Tevinter are trash, I wanna play a Qunari again and shove my BBC into all the female party members
you posted the wrong image
Silk Fox > Dawn Star
honestly never played it, has it aged well?
Bioware has never made anything good. Like.. Nothing. Ever.
DA:O is one of the best rpgs ever made and that's a fact buddy, don't come at me with that bullshit guy
To be fair, it was clunky as hell when it came out but no one loved BW games for the gameplay. It had that true and tested BW writing, characters, atmosphere, etc.
I hope we get good looking gear for a Qunari mage this time around. A helmet would be nice
GOD yes please
You are a man of culture, my fellow user.
Only the story, the combat feels outdated as fuck
As long as they add a Wynne romance I'm in
I replayed it
Kotor was better.
i played it 7 years after release and enjoyed it
I want to see my warden for fuck sake. I don't care if you warden died, my warden is alive so fuck you
It has a classic rpg system although a bit dumbed down. Still fun as hell.
Also more DA2 looking Qunaris imo. I disliked DA:I Qunaris
I like the lore (dwarves are kino) and party members in Origin better
And little things in KOTOR have aged poorly, like the awkward static camera in every cutscene
The tactic table is fantastic . You can script the characters in such a way that you don't even need to move a finger
Yep those were the days...
I hated how this game had illusions of choice and would drag them out for a while and then smack you with a single decision in the end
I also don't remember a single area or quest I particularly liked
never fucked that redhead from Orlais must've missed something at some point
You can do a threesome, and it has BioWare's hottest romanceable character they ever created (outside maybe Viconia) -- Silk Fox.
>Playing a pragmatic Dwarf Noble who spares his brother's life, saves the anvil, buttfucks Leliana, and storms Denerim with an army of Golems
>Playing a City Elf woman who loved Alistair and sacrificed herself to kill the Archdemon so he could be king.
>Playing an evil Human Noble who spares Loghain, becomes king, and has the god-baby with Morrigan.
Had such a good time with this game, Inquisition added some good lore but it's pretty shit in comparison.
>I hated how this game had illusions of choice
The Battle of Denerim is one of the best endings in a modern wrpg, the entire army changes based on your choices throughout the game.
If you're a patrician that plays it for the story choices, great music, writing, atmosphere, characters and waifus then you will probably enjoy it. IF you're a cuckhold then you'll probably be better of playing (((smash bros or fortnite))) for """"gameplay"""" while in the background your wife is pleasing other men. Have fun deciding user!
The UI is terrible on the PC and the combat is just button mashing beat 'em up. Nothing like KOTOR or Dragon Age.
It's fine if you're in for the story and characters though.
Just play the superior game.
>the entire army changes based on your choices throughout the game.
You people are so easy to impress.
It literally just spawns like 6 nameless dudes from each faction you allied with during the final battle and that's it.
Except each army unit behaves differently and has its own strengths and weaknesses. You can't use magi against shrieks, but the Templars, with their high armor, can handle them. Without golems you don't have the best heavy-infantry which is important at higher difficulties against the enemies on the roof when you first face the Archdemon, but letting golems exist causes a huge hit against some party members.
If you want to be reductive, that's fine, but playing on a difficulty above Hard, it's not an "illusion of choice".
I only ever played on Nightmare since the lower difficulties have no friendly fire which is bullshit and simplifies the things too much. If you're not a complete brainlet then you can get by just fine without the golems. E.g. my last party was 1 mage + 2 CUN rogues + 1 DEX tank. You just CC with the mage, draw aggro with the tank and your rogues backstab the shit out of everything.
too bad you can't really become "king" as the human noble, but then again i guess it is implied since Anora is an infertile whore and the warden will just end up usurping the crown from her in some from sooner or later
>Playing a Dwarf Commoner who lost all hope and only cares about his sister, but slowly turns into a true paragon after becoming a grey warden
Only Easy didn't have friendly fire, Normal and Hard did.
I would replay it for sure but then I remember playing as the mage is absolute Kino and the only way to play this game. Sadly I've done enough mage playthroughs.
>absolute Kino and the only way to play this game
That's rogue.
No.
