I didn't play past 3 because who the fuck in their right mind would, but it doesn't look like gears anymore.
Gears was always about being dark, gritty, and overall gloomy atmosphere where humanity was struggling.

No I don't think so. I loved playing Gears online on Xbox, and but hundreds of hours into it, but the single player was always kind of dogshit. Almost no action broken up constantly with long "dialogue" cutscenes. Almost every level had a gimmick because the core gameplay was not that good (in single player). I don't think it can recapture the magic of being in highschool staying up to 2 am on a Tuesday playing Gears.

Yes, I'll probably pre-order for the limited edition, i have the JC ratbike collector edition on my dresser and some other merchandise. I love all of the Gears, i kinda understand the hate for judgment but overrun was way fun, i hope they bring it back. And yes, unironically I'm Mexican, the stereotype is true.
