No I don't think so. I loved playing Gears online on Xbox, and but hundreds of hours into it, but the single player was always kind of dogshit. Almost no action broken up constantly with long "dialogue" cutscenes. Almost every level had a gimmick because the core gameplay was not that good (in single player). I don't think it can recapture the magic of being in highschool staying up to 2 am on a Tuesday playing Gears.

I love all of the Gears, i kinda understand the hate for judgment but overrun was way fun, i hope they bring it back. And yes, unironically I'm Mexican, the stereotype is true.
