1. Ace Attorney: Trilogy was realeased. I speculate to build up hype, and gain new fans. 2. There's a sale right now on 3DS store for all Ace Attorney games, selling them crazily cheap. Now what reason would there be to set down prices if not to make more people buy the games, therefore making more fans. 3. Finally the official Twitter account for Ace Attorney has been extremely active lately, posting memes and gaining attention.
Now those pieces of evidence by them self might not prove anything. But together they point towards Capcom building up more fans and attention towards the new Ace Attorney game.
I mean if it's as shit as 5 and 6 then why even bother
Leo Allen
Capcom is on a roll with comebacks >Mega Man 11 >Devil May Cry 5 Ace Attorney 7 and Legends 3 Next?
Ian Robinson
Who fucking cares? Dual Destinies, Spirit of Justice and Great Ace Attorney were a total snorefest.
Joshua Taylor
Umm.... Im pretty sure they confirmed a new game was in development like a good year or more ago
Joseph Gray
They confirmed a few years ago that the next AA game was in the works but said nothing else about it, I think. I guess that could've just been referring to the recent HD rereleases but I doubt it would've taken that long.
Can we get AAI3 and DGS3 instead?
Jack Morris
6 wasn't that bad, but yeah 5 sucked But now that capcom is on fucking fire with their new releases I hope we can get something like the original trilogy or AAI
Nolan King
I've only played the first one (on ds), did they changed somthing in the sequels?
Aiden Lewis
Ok. I just finished 3 case of dd. It was ok tier. Retarded school drama and shitty villain ruined it. Prosecutor still sucks ass. Also it's me or something wrong with the way trials proceed?
Nolan Robinson
How many fucking Ace Attorney games do you faggots need
Mason Walker
Cases are more streamlined than usual, yeah.
It's a mostly episodic series anyway (it'd probably benefit from being more episodic if anything) so what's the issue exactly?
Easton Bell
But we want ace prosecutor games.
Leo Cook
atleast 4 trilogies with alot of spin offs also AAI needs to have a minimum of 4 more games
Jason Scott
Theyre saving it for the smash reveal alongside the game
Brody Barnes
woo another pay-to-lose DLC character
Asher Flores
Can they finally just do what AJ was supposed to be and do a full reboot?
Tyler Reyes
>Cases are more streamlined than usual, yeah. Nah... It's about how shitty characters and their actions integrated into the trial. It's just feels surreal.
Kayden King
Third case is the biggest instance of that in my opinion, or did you feel the same about the second case too?
Thomas Garcia
Been waiting for the announcement, hopefully we actually get one this year
Matthew Peterson
A lot of bad posters itt
Jonathan Lewis
>AAI3 How about we get fucking AAI2 And not a meme infested shitshow like the fan translation.
Chase James
Why does everyone hate on 5? I played it like, a year and a half ago, but I don't remember much of anything except for the last case, which I liked. I finally played SoJ though and I really don't get why it's rated so highly. The writing was especially godawful in the last case, I don't know why everyone shits on the constant flashbacks and bad writing in that one case of AJ, but constant flashbacks and bad writing are okay in SoJ.
Mason Robinson
AJ always only existed to get Japanese youths talking about juries at the time and not much else, it wasn't even supposed to be a thing at all otherwise
Brayden Murphy
Literally every game aftwards added more things to it >psychelocks >tick telling >more indepth investigating >emotion reading >seeing the last moment of the victim before they died >bringing a whale to the witness stand
Xavier Jackson
I'll wait until capcom announces more U N M I S S A B L E news.
is it that bad? I'm playing the first one and have the second downloaded for when I finish
Carter Reyes
What if we got a detective game where you play AS Gumshoe?
Gavin Ross
wtf are you talking about user, AAI2's fan translation doesn't have that shit >hotel dusk but its gumshoe with joycon gimmicks for examinations sign me up mother fucker
Both: 1.)The whole matrix mood thing is too isolated. 2.)Prosecutor is fucking clown. You can randomly mix Blackquills script. Nothing will change. 3.)I constantly forget about his existence. And not just him. Even fucking trial itself is forgettable. 4.)In previous games you're not allowed to waste everyone's time on bullshit and prosecutor on your ass 24/7. 5.)Everything felt like a plastic. Not real, but fake.
I didn't even know he'd stopped writing the series at the time I played AA5 and 6 and I still wasn't really into them.
Carson Baker
5 was such a tonal whiplash >Athenas entire arch is condensed into one game so it comes off as rushed compared to maya >lets set up something cool for apollo, and does nothing with it >Phoenix fumbles shit up easier then he did at the end of trials and tribulations and cant see the 4D chess people to to try to redeem blackquill like he pulled on Christoph they had cool ideas but the main problem was how they handled all the defense attorneys.
Jaxon Smith
>Phoenix fumbles shit up easier then he did at the end of trials and tribulations
This bugged me through 5 and 6. He grew as a lawyer, he became a super lawyer before being disbarred, and when he got his badge back he was back to floundering around in court.
Robert Cooper
I just wish he internalized it instead of doing it openly, making his shocked expressions rare instead of at least once every day in court.
Christopher Hill
>meme infested shitshow explain. I was just about to play this on my 3ds.
Jose Stewart
OOOH, if you guys hate Blackquill, you're gonna fucking despise AA6's prosecutor.
