Here's the gist of it. ShTH is a great PLAYING game trapped with shitty level design and awful tone.
I think the story can be "so bad it's good", but the mission structure can't be saved by that metric.
Be honest, there's a small part of you that enjoys it

i will always remember seeing that commercial in my bed for the first time. i just got up and was like no fucking way. shadow is getting his own game holy FUCK. i got all A ranks in this game and unlocked expert mode. even my two other friends, who weren't sonic fans got the game, which was fucking weird.
i remember playing it at my friends house and his older goth sister and boyfriend were watching me play. literally did not say anything to me but were like "is that shadow? with a sword?" and they were giggling and shit. fucking uncomfortable honestly.

I'm fucking glad this game exists. OW THE EDGE and Shadow the Hedgehog in general has made the world a lot more entertaining place.
