Not him but i think you can get Nintendo gift cards for $5 off $50, which would be $90 for the pass and I’m assuming you get $10 in Nintendo coins for the purchase?

there's an app on ios/android called Raise, basically a gift card exchange. you get $5 for signing up, and there's a code 10RAISEAF for $10 off your first purchase over $50. gift cards are usually 5-10% off, so you can buy them normally at $45.

Cool was on the fence for Mario maker but definitely going for pokemon shield

yeah it's good for 12 months from purchase. i bought a second one and i'll probably get AC and pokemon

Update: it worked. I called their customer service and I fucked up my order originally. All good, but I’m waiting to buy the vouchers until mid July so I have as long a window as possible to buy something (they expire in 1 year from purchase)

I like the joke but really if you’re planning on buying at least 2 Nintendo games at release within the next 13 months it’s not a bad deal. $40 each for new games at release (which Nintendo games rarely drop in price). I have no idea what they’re planning this holiday season, since we’ll find out this E3, but I’d at least get Astral Chain and Mario Maker 2 at the very least. I’m hoping for Bayonetta 3 release within the next year and would get that instead of MM2

5% for digital, 1% for physical. so a bonus $5 for the voucher essentially.

Let me get this straight, you can get two $50 eshop cards for like $90, minu $5 for signing up, minus $10 for the first order bringing the total to roughly $75 and then when you spend the eShop cards on vouchers and get 5% back, you basically end up paying $70 for $120 in value?

Yup, that’s what I did. I’ve used raise before and generally had no issues, but I wouldn’t buy PSN cards from them. I bought 2 $50 cards and neither of them worked.

No issues with eshop cards though, I’ve gotten like 6 or 7 cards with no problems

I have 2 vouchers now, gonna use em on Fire emblem and mario maker. Then I’m gonna buy the max amount of vouchers before 7/31 when the offer expires
