Not him but i think you can get Nintendo gift cards for $5 off $50, which would be $90 for the pass and I’m assuming you get $10 in Nintendo coins for the purchase?

there's an app on ios/android called Raise, basically a gift card exchange. you get $5 for signing up, and there's a code 10RAISEAF for $10 off your first purchase over $50. gift cards are usually 5-10% off, so you can buy them normally at $45.
