I hate both but I hate capeshit even more because it's the same predictable cookie cutter shit of good vs comically evil or le epic wacky so funny super hero for the 99% majority of it, since the writers have certain limitations on the premise of the stories where they can't really go over certain things because they're politically incorrect or controversial, sometimes even used for virtue signalling or for pushing certain political agendas, meanwhile at the very least anime can come up with an interesting story or premise every once in a while.
I hate all the pedobait,cringey and fetishist anime that is made on a seasonal basis but at the very least the fact that that shit exists shows that the writers and animators can make a story about whatever the fuck they want which is a great thing.
