Ryuji's Cyberdramon seems like a beast
Digimon thread
The first game was delisted from all stores so i'm guessing it's only Hacker's Memory.
Wasn't the translation for the first one done by retards (pic related)? Maybe they're still pondering if it's worth re-translating the game so it isn't a fucking shit?
For some reason, I'm unable to find physical copies, and even on PS Store the 1st Cyber Sleuth game isn't available, but it says it was released in the EU.
Maybe the agumon smash supporters will get the dream?
there are a few "dna digivolutions" that are basically fusions, but for the most part, this is how it works.
some other tips on digivolving:
>abi is the most important stat to keep track of, since digivolutions are gated behind reaching a certain number. reaching certain milestones also gives stat boosts in training. in hacker's memory, abi is capped at 100. it can only be raised through evolving/devolving or from feeding your mon miracle meat (which is extremely rare).
>farm equipment, personality patches and restraint chips are your friend. the most op mons in the game tend to have certain stat requirements that can only be met through having the right personality and training on the farm. that means you're going to want to put the proper personality patch on your mon, on a farm with a leader that has the same personality, with equipment that boosts the stat in question, and restraint chips to prevent any bonus points from getting siphoned off into other stats. this sounds convoluted, but it's actually way more convenient than pokemon's ev/iv/natures system because you have full control every step of the way.
>when grinding for a specific digimon, make sure to go up and down all of its lines to build up the most diverse possible movepool.
>three platinumnumemons with stacked tactician usbs and decent moves (nightmare iii, character reversal, texture blow) makes grinding only take a few minutes at a time.
Why was it delisted?
>Sounds interesting.
Well, it isn't, because to get specific stats you have to battle specific foes. Meaning you'll have to bail out of many fights that don't have the type of enemy with the stat/exp type you need to make your monster digivolve. And if you want your monster to evolve and it neets(y) type experience, but you haven't raeched a place with good enough enemies of (y) type to gain experience from, you're stuck on going to a place with shit level digimon that has it, and running from the battle until you finally find the type you're looking for. And if you reach the level cap and your digi still doesn't have the (y) exp, you have to devolve their ass to the previous, weaker state and reset them to level 1. Thankfully, it doesn't fuck over your overall stats much, but it's a gargantuan roadblock nonetheless.
And that's not counting stuff like friendship or whatever other arbitrary specifics they throw at you if you want a certain digivolution.
It's incredibly fucking annoying, they probably toned that shit down and stream lined it on Cyber Sleuth and Hackers Memory, I wouldn't know because I haven't played them, but the DS Story games were fucking grindfests of the highest caliber;
>For some reason, I'm unable to find physical copies
Amazon Germany has it
Git gud
