Feeling nostalgic for good ol' Digimon games, I've bought this game on Big In Japan sale on PS Store. Still going through the first chapters, but I'm getting this "Persona/Shin Megami Tensei" vibe from it.
Having played "Digimon World" games on PS1, does it get complex when it comes to Digivolving like in those games? Or are they sticking to the Persona-like fusions between Digimon?
Digimon thread
If you wanted the Digimon World gameplay you should've bought Next Order, the Digimon Story games are straight up rpgs.

Neither. You level Digimon up through farming nd when they fullfill stat requirements you can digivolve them into different forms. Later you'll have to devolve them again and farm them up again to improve their stats.
Thanks for the info, user.
Sounds interesting.
Character designs are by Suzuhito Yasuda, the artist for SMT Devil Survivor
Ah, so that's why I'm getting the SMT vibes from it. The in-game font is also the same, I think.
Spanish retailers list Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory for Switch
gematsu.com
>description for hacker's memory talks about how it's a side-game to the original cyber sleuth
>original cyber sleuth got nuked off of psn, customer support implied it was because they wanted more people buying hacker's memory
>play game on hard mode
>all it is is just giving enemies 5 turns before mine
>usually can't even get a move in before party wiped
>restart on normal
>game is reasonable again
What the fuck is the purpose of hard mode?
Your copy paste link broke, though that is an actual article.
Just Hacker's Memory seems like a really odd choice though. The game is such heavy fanservice for the first game that it seems ridiculous to play it on its own.
If it's a collection of the two it'd be well worth buying.
