I agree, I only got my own ps4 when God of War came out. Sony is on a streak with nice exclusives so hopefully, they will continue it into ps5. I would like to see a comeback for Microsoft just as much

Console sales aren't everything. Most of the PS3 sales were just people buying a slim near the end of the life cycle to play a couple exclusives. Most multiplats had the 360 version outsell the PS3 version 2 to 1. The 360 was much more relevant as part of the overall cultural zeitgeist.

Luckily most of the games worth while on PS4 are also on other systems. Their whole movie shtick really doesn’t appeal to me. They already neutered one gameplay predominant series in god of war so I don’t look forward to their next infamous.
That being said persona is still Sony exclusive so I’ll probably need to fork cash over for a ps5 eventually.
