Post age and the ideal game length in hours

>>JRPG
>60-80 hours
Good fucking god no. All that results in it is a poorly paced padded to fuck shit show. 20-40 is the sweet spot. Nice big quest, maybe some side stuff but above all else it moves at a brisk pace and makes the game infinitely more replayable. And not because it gives you a million useless options or filler side quests, but because it's just good.

my ideal game goes on forever with a perfect plot and gameplay mechanics so I can have that obsessed feeling and enjoyment for as long as I want...

I'm 22. Ideal length per-playthrough is 4-to-30 hours, depending on genre and pricepoint, not including tutorials and cutscenes. Replayability is key.

Fighting games on the other hand have infinite replay value. Not just from Local/Online Vs, but from Training mode lab time. I can sit in a fighting game labbing combos and mixups for hours and hours if I have the itch.

But if it's a story-driven game, it depends on game. 25 hours is okay.

Not factoring in RPGs, 6-12 hours. I never stick around with the same game long enough to finish them

I just prefer the more short and sweet experiences and when I do play a game thats longer Its usually not very story heavy like Factorio, Stardew Valley, Terraria etc
I have too much free time

Replayability is one of my favorite things in games. Not that every game should have it, but those that do, and do so fittingly, I really adore. Have a list of games i keep coming back to. Minecraft, Stalker, Oblivion, Morrowind, GTA San Andreas, 7 days to die, rimworld, Anno, from the top of my head.I have at least 100h in every one of those, and significantly more in some (the older ones that have been out a while, since there was generally more time to play them plus I have been in school when I played them so I had a lot of free time for vidya).
