I tried MHGU after World, which was my first MH and I couldn't get into GU. Am I pleb? The QoL in World is just too much.

Switch is a jack of all trades, master of none. It's a console and handheld in one but doesn't excel at being either. Underpowered and lacking features as a console, and it's too big and uncomfortable as a handheld.
Another problem is it doesn't get games that are specifically designed for a handheld or games that make use of dual screens/touch screen like Etrian Odyssey. Instead you just end up with indies and downgraded ports of multiplats.
