You literally can't argue with this

>sticking to the meta instead of playing the characters that you enjoy is fun
Then we really would have had another anime swordsman

At least the autistic competitive community isn't flinging shit around like they did when Bayonetta was introduced

do you mean this in a good way or bad way

nobody in a competitive/multiplayer game can wrap their heads around the idea of "most new things will be harder to deal with because the methods of dealing with them haven't been figured out yet"

my personal favorite example is the paired ringed knight greatswords in Dark Souls 3, they have a three-hit wombo combo that you get just by mashing the left button
everybody was screaming about how it was broken, screaming for it to be nerfed, screaming about how Miyazaki and From were ignoring them
and one month later with no changes they suddenly weren't a problem anymore because SURPRISE, you can roll circles around them super fucking easy once you learn the timing

>it's literally impossible for people to enjoy things different to me

It's hard to pinpoint which characters are shit or OP right away when you have a roster of 70+ fighters.
Now that the game has been out for a couple of months, any new character that comes out can get full attention from competitive players. He's confirmed shit

He'll be A or B tier.

>Now that the game has been out for a couple of months
It hasn't even been half a year, you absolute fucking retard.
People didn't give a shit about Wario until recently.
Just shut up already.

It's way to early to judge anything about him, but Zackray winning a local with Joka gives me nothing but hope for the character

Except for all the people saying he was great from the start and all the high tournament places.
