Also, it's not like Remedy hasn't made sequels before. They probably want to follow up on those hooks they left, but can't at present for some reason or another.
So there's some indications that Control is going to be used as a means to tie in all of the events in Quantum Break...

Alan Wake was pretty decently long all said. If Control is anything like that, and you take the time to go through everything the Oldest House has to offer, you've probably got a fair bit of content ahead of you.
