>wizardry 8
that's an oxymoron.
play elminage gothic and you'll never want to touch a jrpg ever again
What are the best JRPGs one can play on PC? Not counting emulators
Is it good?
Never played Ni no Kuni 2. But I played Ni no Kuni 1 and it was literally Dragon Quest VIII with all the good ideas removed.
Final Fantasy III on Steam actually got a vast improvement over its DS version. No idea why Final Fantasy IV was a shitty port from mobile with horrid UI.
elminage is alright, closest jap wizardry clone to an actual classic wizardry game for better and for worse
Even the PSP FF3 changes don't do anything to mitigate the shitty second half of that game. You still get hit with a massive grind wall with Xandt. The final dungeon is still a pain. And Matrix Software were WAY too conservative about polishing about the overall experience for the better.
All the PC ports of the Final Fantasy games are bad. They are bad ports of the shitty mobile remakes.
>He doesn't know Record of Lodoss War
Best OVA based on a D&D campaign ever made. Too bad the anime was shit because it was following a new crew. God tier opening, though.

I didn't say the game lacked flaws. But every FF game turns to shit in the last half. What I'm talking about is performance and UI. They improved those on the Steam version of Final Fantasy III. Compared to Final Fantasy where they transplanted the shitty smartphone UI and didn't enlarge the games resolution.
>But every FF game turns to shit in the last half.
Not true. FF4, FF5, FF6, and FF7 all had pretty good second halves.
