what game? is it ace combat?
kino
Yep. Ace Combat 5
Also relevant.
Liam is such a pussy.
I cried too tho. Cheapened KH3's version by a HUGE amount playing N:A first
Why couldn't we save her?
youtu.be
this was so goddamn cringy
>cringy
cringe
really need to pick up RDR2 again, I just stopped after the Online bored me to death
I meant it. Ending E shouldn't have existed. Nier is a depressing franchise, the only ending that you should get is a depressing one, or at least bittersweet. not an outright happy ending that they pulled off outta nowhere
You know what needs to be done user
This is the one. EDF Iron Rain of all things pulls a similar stunt. EDF flagship is under assault from giant walking transport spider thing so Lightning squad flies into assist, runs out of ammo, retreats to a resupply base, but you have no time for them to resupply so Lightning 1 uses his plane as a missile to destroy the Gargant. And it gets all hammy and played up with the dialogue. Still. Ace pilots sacrificing themselves for their comrades is always a champion maneuver.
one sec, let me pull up the webm
you know the fucking rules
Only time I have ever cried ever.
>Nier is a depressing franchise, the only ending that you should get is a depressing one
brainlet
>at least bittersweet. not an outright happy ending that they pulled off outta nowhere
The ending literally has them discussing "This could all just end in tragedy again," and almost every other relevant character is still dead or has still suffered some terrible loss. All they could do was let them have a chance at their own future.
When the new world order comes people that post that webm will be found and forced to watch the cow scene on repeat until they die.
the passionate emotional acting behind this scene is what got me to cry. You never hear this level of voice acting in games in the West.
>the start of Ori
>the end of Ori, To The Moon, The Walking Dead season 1 and 2, and Mother 3
>the sepia tinted ride back to camp in RDR2 provided the open world doesn't ruin it by having a deer slam you off your horse or something, and Arthur's death
>Gears 2 and 3, Dom's wife and Dom's suicide
>maybe the end of Earthbound if the abstract, tragic nature of it all hits you in the right feels
>Mother 3's Hinawa scenes
Probably missing some but these are the ones that have hit me in my precious little fee-fees, I didn't cry for all of them but they all got their intended reaction out of me
One among many in this game
This was even harder to watch
youtu.be
>crying
>ever
What is this 200 word essay?
>Don't look at me! Don't look at me, Kiryu! Please!
Fucking ace voice work.
(You)
It wasn't outright happy at all
I wish this scene wasn't stuck in a pretty underwhelming sequel
beautiful moment
The moment The Nameless One from Planescape: Torment remembers his true name.
You're the meaning in my life!
You're the inspiration!
Context?
>Man the fuck up and do it!
What a fucking alpha, jesus christ.
God damn that whole speech she has in this scene absolutely kills me
>majima pic
I cant find a clip of it but the very final scene where he walks away from makoto got me hard
2B has great ass
>posting Ori
>not the 10/10 genso tree escape
Best part of the game by far. Hopefully the sequel is more focused on fast paced set pieces like that.
youtube.com
The whole start of part 8 really made the big bro in me start crying.
Was in tears for half of ep 8
>There's no joy in finally finding Toko
it would be this
Fuck that section, it took me about 20 minutes to complete. Fucking infuriating having to learn each new surprise they throw at you and wipe if you fuck up one jump and go back to the very start
The others were easier too for some reason, although the Ginso Tree comes earlier
or this
Literally git gud.
I was disappointed by the other sections, they were too easy imo. Ginso tree was good because it was tough and required memorization, but when you died the loadtime was practically instant and the music didn't stop so it never got frustrating. The section itself is only about a minute long.
I think Zero's speech is retroactively sadder than this scene BECAUSE of this scene. Because he VERY clearly realized that this was the outcome, he just couldn't afford to care.
I love ending e but that one question in your pic just kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I can't quite articulate it but just that one question i found kinda ehhh.
Still loved the game though, cried through out ending e
I take it you don't play very many platformers?
It's one of the most compelling/sad scenes I ever witnessed in vidya
The only good ending in Automata is ending T, since it means you can go play a game that's actually good instead.
3 in the morning bawling my eyes out in silence.
DQXI had some really unexpected moments like that.
Mermaid also
That chapter got surprisingly real at the end
I didn't really feel much during ending E, but the "will you come with us? " line from ending D got me instantly tearing eyed
Had to be me
Someone else might have gotten it wrong
when your soldiers salute and hum the peace walker theme in the quarantine sector
I mean holy fuck, these were people I knew and remembered, some were my top lads, even played as some
Fuck, man
This is like bragging about being unable to enjoy music.
I literally just watched a video on YouTube right under the one you linked that spouted all those points. Try thinking independently my guy.
I don't mind a long challenge, but a lot of it came to memorisation and learning from failure instead of pulling through by being given enough time to react to a new challenge.
God the mermaid subplot was such a ride.
but anything about the hero's past will always be my favorite
lol. fag. crying to a fucking video game. go drink some more sóy bitch nigga
Learning from failure is just fine too. If they gave you enough time to react for every single obstacle you genuinely would just breeze through the game with no issue and probably be bored out of your ass. The fact some stuff exceeds your ability is fine.
Based filter raping this jabroni into whimpering submission.
best kino ending
>some youtuber fag agrees with me some I'm a drone
LITERALLY seething
>no happy answer
The song during that scene really makes it hurt.
>got me hard
>whimpering submission
Kek what a bitch
THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT
what game?
>"I implore you to reconsider"
>:)
It was so heart warming
The end of this mission hit me particularly hard.
Crying would disrespect the memory of these great men who died.
I won't cry. I won't... Cry..
I don't... want to cry...
youtu.be
Give him back
This is the patrician opinion.
Can't argue that, it just left me frustrated by the time I finished it
>better insult the person I got my ideas from so I don't seem like an NPC
I agree with your (his) points in that it's well designed as a trial and error gauntlet but I still found it too punishing and you still are a drone. You're right that the game is too easy after that too, I think I died once or twice for each other gauntlet challenge after the tree and that is far too low a bar
Ever17.
The voice acting was way too real for an early 2000s Japanese horror game dub
At least link the video so I know what you're talking about. Could just be we have the same views, but I guess that's simply not within the realm of possibility, is it?
Also
>it was too hard
>but the rest were too easy
Make up your mind user
you will take your movie webm and you will like it, cuckold
0% based
here's something for me to brag about;
my foot up your ass
Okami ending, where you lose your powers and Issun is cheering for you spreading the word of your actions making people pray for you again.
Very wholesome moment.
Nice joke
What the fuck is it about AC5 that makes people cry? I cried during the ending.
Came here to post this
Chapter 16 in Valkyria Chronicles 4. Raz deserved better.
bawled, it was too much. the music helps too
I have never played this
How are you confused by what I said? The rest of the game is too easy and the Ginso Tree gauntlet challenge was frustratingly hard. That's not a conflicting statement.
This is the video you're pretending not to have seen
youtu.be
Stay in your containment board you fucking simp
Finished the finale a bit ago and I'm sad it's over now...
How about that 'Face of the Coin' ?
Oh fuck, oh god, oh shit why would you bring these memories back up user what the fuck.
Pic too fucking related.
Two kino endings. These, MGS3 and Lisa are all sad masterpieces.
Hey really did knock it out of the fucking park, the way she’s constantly about to break down crying makes it really hard to endure.
Ruined by the niggerchoir whispering in the background
You shouldn't really cry watching these things but picrelated is very emotionally resonant. Also the scene where Kuro tells Sekiro that the dragon's heritage doesn't belong to anyone but then looks up at him to say that he wishes there was another way, right before the final fight begins.
Persona 3 might be melodramatic at times but there are some legit moments that Yukari and Mitsuru go through that would have broken people with less willpower. Brings a tear to my eye.
There is definitely a JRPG thing about not having a normal, happy relationship with both parents who are alive and do not die during the course of the game. Treasure the time you have left with them, anons.
>"I've lost time and time again, but now I've finally won"
Amazing scene
>Narrator: She was not
It's weird. they were barely in the game, and yet I dropped a tear right during this scene. You can't really compare them to your partners like Navi or Midna, but they still kinda are
weebs really have the worst fucking taste. and who gets mad a choir? god i hate you ugly freaks
This speech right here:
>crying to two non-characters
god fucking dammit this board is such a fucking shitshow
fuck you nigger, everything that involves parents is always a tearbait and I always fell for it
>Ooga booga shuga dooga
Bix nood Bix nood
you know this
also Rins neutral ending
Based Porkins poster
Same game, just an hour earlier.
youtube.com
>finally find your old partner
>he's become a pokemon
>he's travelling with someone else, but can still hold his own
>he's been tricked by your worst enemy
>you finally get a message line through to him
>you, him, and his new partner form a bond while trying to stop the destruction of time
>finally about to reach the end and stop Dialga once and for all
>ambushed by that same enemy, trapped in a
bad situation, just you and him
>give yourself up for the greater good, with your partner promising to finish the job
>while in the future, convince your greatest enemy of your intentions and with him, proceed to defeat your enemy before you disappear forever, seeing your first sunrise before you go
In my mind, "Grovyle...my light, did it shine?" hits way harder than the player character's disappearance too, since you know the PC's coming back, you really don't expect a piece of shit like Dusknoir to get revived.
The series nearly died with him, too.
>Despite everything it's still you
now I know you fags hate undertale but you gotta admit that one bit is damn kino
"Karrak...is burning..."
