Overrated as hell. Bland story, bland characters, repetitive gameplay and all the areas look the same. It has anime ass tho so Yea Forums likes it by default

The story wasn't too bland, but in my opinion it wasn't narrated well. Especially if one, like me, did not know the story from the previous titles.
For me it was more the combat, too repetitive, weapons style of combat isn't much stressed.

Areas aren't so repetitive per se, but the fact that you have to get back to the same place a lot of times makes them a bit boring, even with "secret" areas that you discover later.
On the other hand, it's nice to see the development of an area as the story progresses.

I've enjoied it mostly because I like androids/robots and I had fun. Worth a try if you like this setting.
