I played about 4 matches of this game and had an ok time, it was a solid game and the type of thing I'd be willing to play by going "it's fun with friends". However I'm not particularly into BRs and I don't see why I'd ever bother with this instead of just playing Titanfall 2 or any other shooter really

I don't care about cinema at all but most of the theaters in my region don't even bother rolling anything that isn't Marvel blockbuster tier anymore because it's just not worth it. I'm well aware of situations like the one that Tarantino deal it with where his movie got pushed out earlier than agreed from some cinemas because Disney pretty much threatened the company but cinema management staff is also aware that having big name movies just isn't worth it. And the Disney threatening cinemas thing is also a good indication that money isn't always their go to method of influencing things.

No. You might like the building I guess and that's fine but the games have different enough gameplay that it comes down to preference of style over the quality of the gameplay. I have limited experience in both games because BRs aren't my thing but as someone who prefers FPSs Apex was perfectly acceptable, the game responded well, the movement allowed for good navigation and confrontations allowed for some level of outplaying the opponents even if they got the drop on you. Everything you wrote after customization comes down to your personal preference and that's fine. The reason why Titanfall and Apex failed is because EA/Respawn are awful at handling marketing and post-launch support/content

Who cares if the skins are ugly, it's a first person game. I can understand buying skins in Fortnite because it's third person (although it's still kind of questionable since it doesn't have a free camera like most third person games so you basically only ever see the skin from the back). But in an FPS it really doesn't matter.
