All these years later and I still havent played any of the DLC even tho I have the ultimate edition, one of these days

tru dat

operation anchorage is one of the best fallout dlcs
inb4 its 3 not nv

are you stupid or just retarded

it was a bump without directly saying so

The DLCs suck desu, desu. They are pretty linear and you can't escape from their map until you finished the DLC's mainquest (except LR). But you should've played them atleast once since the lore is pretty good. Fills a few plot holes. Lonesome Road is the only DLC I like to come back to.

you aren't missing much 2bh, they're all either boring or not very interesting. dead money's story and characters are kinda cool but that's about it

Honest Hearts is the best DLC

Fuck OWB, fuck Lonesome Road and fuck Dead Money especially

Honest Hearts is short and dull as fuck. Dead Money is by far the best Fallout DLC ever

Based

The issue isn't that it's 3, but that it's a fucking CoD campaign in a game with awful shooting.

HH and LR are the only worth while. Fuck those DM slave collars and QWB robo scorps.

Honestly I liked the unit management (even though it was a tiny part of it overall), wish they expanded on it. Could've been neat, maybe even some more strategic elements or something like commanding a troop of soldiers.

OWB gives you a melee weapon that easily kills the scorpions, stop using your normal weapons. And you just need to pay attention to your surroundings in Dead Money. Both of those things are your fault.

Dead Money is very Bioshock-like. Closed in derelict city, traps and hidden goodies everywhere. You lose all your shit at start (you get it back after completing it), so you have to scavenge and craft. Best writing of all DLCs. Bomb collar that can be set off by speakers is annoying, but it's an issue only twice: red speakers were a mistake. Ghost people as single freakiest enemies in New Vegas.
Honest Hearts is rather mild. Open map full of wildlife, hostile tribals. Bets part of DLC is unmarked quest, where you search for hideouts and logs of previous "owner" of the valley.
Old World Blues is crazy mix of juvenile humor, cheap old school sci-fi, and creepy findings. I totally loved the mix. There's also massive plot twist at near end of it, where everything suddenly starts making sense. Rewards are crazy OP.
Lonesome Road is focused on combat and fairly linear, though there's always plenty to find if you stray. You can also learn Courier's backstory, which changes in details, depending on your progress in vanilla game, and standing with factions at start of it.
Gun Runner's Arsenal adds new weapons. It's worthless without Right to Bear Arms mod, that hides uniques across Mojave and distributes new non-uniques across leveled lists.

upvoted

GRA also adds ammo types and weapon mods

there's also LAER which is single most powerful laser rifle in game, only with less range.

Sonic pistol, when set to flame critt, with crit perks and Pyromaniac perk, can oneshot final boss, which is needless but cool.

i've made 20+ characters, cannibal hobo serial killer is my favorite to play as.
