yes I can bitch
I did.
Decent fight but I feel like the AI is bugged. If he doesn't hit you with an attack (because you dodged/blocked it), he tends to keep doing that same attack over and over and over. I don't know if it's a 2.5 version problem or if it was like that on PS2 as well.
You beat him on level 1 critical? You cant say you completed KH2FM until you do
>implying you can beat Terra
There is a lot of things Sora can do, rewriting reality is one but there will never be a reality where he can beat Terra
Hello Mr game journalist
best boss in the series, everything about him and his attacks are great
only issue I have is one of his attack patterns is kinda fucked to deal with, when he summons two laser drones and goes into bike phase is when shit gets a bit too much for me to handle
Not gonna lie after dying approx 100 times I ended up cheesing him.
Yes at level 1.
>finally beat demyx on level 1
>die to the last section of the final fantasy fights after
What the fuck do you do if this faggot catches you in the air? fucking aerial recovery just sets you up for another hit.
You eat the hits and let second chance/once more save you. Then either cheese with stitch or heal yourself.
>second chance/once more
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware we were playing on easy modo.
Of course I beat the best boss in Kingdom Hearts as he was meant to be fought. I can't imagine someone who calls themselves a KH fan and hasn't done that.
time your aerial recovery as soon as he's about to hit you
Hell no. I beat my first run of main game fairly easily blind on critical, handled the absent silhouettes without too much trouble, thought I might as well give him a shot before setting the game down and literally the first thing he did was whip out his giant laser cannon and oneshot my ass. I immediately moved on to BBS after that.
Cope harder, I beat the games on easiest difficulty and still partake in the threads and you'll never know
Got gold crown on Crit. Was a lot of fun
Why couldn't KH3 produce anything as Kino as Lingering Will lads?
Of course I did.
The Guardian tearing off his wrappings and struggling to speak was pretty cool. No fights get close to LW though
I've never played anything past vanilla KH2 despite loving the series. I'd buy the collection if it was on PC but that's probably never going to happen
The Einhander gummi fight playing the original music if you chose the Einhander ship was nice though. Surprised how much love Einhander got in 3.
I found the book guy to be by far the hardest fight in the game. Maybe I'm just retarded
>jump attack attack
>make sure combo doesn’t finish
>repeat until dead
>implying this is hard
Bruh
Because Kingdom Hearts 3 was disappointing and unfinished. It's almost completely left my mind at this point.
Him and the dice guy have phases where it’s press the right button or die. Bullshit.
I did, but not at level 1. The whip just feels random sometimes.
Level 1 Crit is a meme difficulty that only hyper-autistic speedrunners care about
>they didn't beat him in antiform
What don't you like about it, sempai?
Did it at level 1. The only thing I can never get past no matter how many times I try is when he goes into the bike phase after the first auto counter. I hate that bullshit.
Reminder that if you grind for stat boosts you're a pussy
you can just guard the laser cannon and it'll reflect it right back for free damage, or dodge roll it
>Cope harder, I beat the games on easiest difficulty and still partake in the threads and you'll never know
Might as well YouTube every video game shitter.
Mad because bad.
Level 1 Crit balanced fine.
Git gud
not if you take it slow and try to beat it by sections
Reminder the kino KH2 combat and bosses are dead.
Osaka team will forever keep shitting up mediocre trash
Why are those recipes even in the game? Waters down the role of equipment.
Fuck the hell off bl00dyfaggot. We get it, your mom was fl*aty as fuck and your dad was never in your life. sctop fucking crying about muh float muh bbs muh osaka nobody gives a fuxk jesus christ
based
They don't matter.
Which summons and drive forms are the most fun to use?
See you in the next Kh thread, we'll have a nice discussion about the gameplay, lore or who is best girl.
Form: Limit. Zantetsuken finisher into Ars just feels so nice.
Summon: Stitch. Love all the enemies being stunned while Stitch fucks about on the screen.
Yeah I did it and got the gold crown.
Fuck doing it on lvl1 though.
Then why not emulate it?
You can emulate all the games on the collections except for the 0.2 and KH3.
Not sure if you can emulate 3ds games though.
I did. KH1 > KH2.
>t. casual
>Says lv1 proud is chip damage
>Refuses to upgraded keyblades
Retarded faggot
>t.cuck nigger tranny
We all know 2FM is the best entry in the series. Guess what? It was also a complete accident. The team behind 2FM doesn't exist anymore, Nomura is a retard who cant convince Square to get the dream team back which is why 3 was made with floatsaka team instead. Cope. KH will never get a game on the level of 2FM ever again.
KH3 LV1PR is chip damage even if you full upgrade keyblades and wear max str accessories. You only do damage in lv1pr if you are in a formchange (Hidden Potential boosts your str and mag stats) which is dogshit game design. Hidden Potential should be tied to Zero EXP, not your Press Triangle to Awesome button
Prometheus?
yes
Nigger there's footage of ultima weapon non transformed doing high damage fuck off
show me the footage or shut the fuck up you goddamn clown.
>ultima weapon
you get this at literal endgame you fucking retard hahahahahaha cope
Square Enix doesn't know how to design action games, this boi is the prime example
Very Hard in NIER Automata is better balanced than KH2FM Crit
>thought Kh3 would be full of bosses like Lingering Will
why did I have so much hope?
Love retards who spout memes about their being some mythical action Dev team that could have fixed Kingdom hearts. If any such team existed, the reason they couldn't do it was because too busy making FFXV's dumpster fire combat. Face it, no one at the company really had any clue what they were doing
I beat him without getting hit AND without locking on OR moving the camera. Man up you fucking pussies.
The combat is exactly the same as KH2FM, the only difference is that the game puts all the EZMODE fight ending nuking tools on the triangle button rather than inside the drive and summon menu
>exactly the same
>can't super glide
Demyx is all about baiting him into his show stopper RC.
Not the user you were arguing with but holy fuck you’re mad hahahaha
I did actually
Honestly I platted all the KH games starting in the beginning of 2018 so I could be going into KH3 with hype. I don't get what the big deal is about this guy, or the data fights. Sure, took a couple tries to learn each fight, but nothing really stood out as some insane difficulty. I just think people remember this shit as being harder because they either sucked all those years ago and just have nostalgia from when they were kids and things were hard.
Stats in KH2 are a meme, and the fact that you can still do respectable damage even at level 1 proves that.
I don't think you're referring to the move you think you're referring to. KH2FM doesn't have an ability called super glide. If you're trying to refer to the glide ability, which is similar to superglide but present in KH2FM, then did you literally just not play KH3 because the game definitely has it.
>You beat him on level 1 critical?
Exp zero basically buffs up everything which makes it easier than not having it on.
>same
Not even close
Level 1 crit might as well be it’s own mode. Level 2 does piss damage.
Nah, people just get bored memorising movesets. To be fair, nothing in the game requires the player to even block before the superbosses, it's honestly no surprise to me people go into this fight so under-prepared.
SE aren't much for action game philosophy or functional design, taking a critical view on KH2's mechanics it's pretty clear most of them were implemented either to remove as much responsibility from the player as possible or to band-aid patch overarching issues in combat design, like I-frames applied on regular combo moves because they would be functionally useless if the player could get hit during their long animations
>Stats in KH2 are a meme
there's an increased damage floor compared to the other games so you can still kill shit on level 1 but that just means leveling puts you in absurd damage territory
They're both piss easy on every difficulty and overload the player with broken nuke tools. In both games pressing x will casually move-assisting Sora towards enemies and selecting moves contextually so that the player does not miss. Both games have a block with 20 frame start-up that players will rarely use because they don't want to memorise unintuitive enemy animations (sorry I meant to say "learn the fight") and both games are designed by people who can't think that the only way to get players to stop mashing X outside of making every other option in the menu so cheesy and broken that spamming them has become the absolute top strat for every speedrunner
No but I appreciate this and the Septhiroth fight, cause every thing in the games afterwards was just horribly designed
Most notorious example is YX in BBS, it was like KH1FM Xemnas on crack
Damn shame the armor didnt play a bigger part in 3
That's not bugged. That's legit and it's how speedrunners loop him
KH2 is not complex, don't fall for the speed runner meme
No it doesn't. You're thinking of the Osaka games. It doesn't buff anything in KH2.
I did, including a run with:
>sweet memories
>no damage
>no use of limit forms, drive forms, or reflega
If only this skill applied to literally anything else. I am relatively shit at everything else KH2 and Vidya in general, but I can fucking read this cunt like a book.
>einhander love
God I hope the Final Mix update Brings more. Having a Drache boss and a Shudder remix would be pure magic.
Yes. MF is both harder and a better fight.
Hell Zexion is harder with his bullshit.
