Realism isn’t fun

I was looking forward to this quest in my second playthrough but since my stats were so high I chose the charisma option while talking to the priest and it completely skipped the funny stuff.

get the save anywhere mod (no schnapps) and you can just make a bunch of saves to try diff scenarios out.

Mediocre and uninspired game, it didn't do anything wrong but didn't do anything outstanding either. 5/10, I don't normally use the soul meme but this was trully soulless.

For him one of the big things in the game was graphics/immersion. Think about the fact that for older folks, games were fucking CYOA-esque text based adventures with literally no graphics at all. He said basically every second looking at the countryside or riding a horse was mindblowing. I never told him about the controversies with bugs or racism and he never brought it up (except to note that his save files got corrupted all the time apparently).

They gave the DLC to the backers for free so they had no monetary incentive to actually make anything good, and instead shat out a bunch of really weak add-on quests for absurd prices to the people who didn't back it.

That's a broad question. Sales wise it did decently and I believe the studio attracted a buyer with it so someone thought it was worth investing in. As a story I think it falls flat by the end and not being able to 100% pacifist run was a mistake.

I just picked it up. I love the amount of work they have put into every small detail, and the codex detailing everyday things about medieval life. I'm just having a horrible time getting used to the combat, I think I'll just stick with trying to talk my way through shit.

The multi opponent combat felt wonky and stiff rather than representative of the severe disadvantage it would have been. Otherwise it's a fucking wicked game. I keep meaning to finish my second hardcore stealth replay but I never get around to it.

This, the combat system has good and bad aspects. I mostly didn't like it but I'm not sure how I would have improved it, either.

The alchemy system is also one of the most comfy things in the game.

Level strength and get the perk that makes you 40 percent more likely to win struggles (that's when you and your opponment get close and grab each other), You will pretty much always win them and get a free hit on the enemy which they cannot dodge or parry.

Were the bugs ever fixed? Bought this game and even with a 1080 there was just some janky ass shit happening. Also in the first hour or so I encountered at least a handful of bugs with dialogue and NPCs acting very odd.

Wanted to pick this up once it went on sale and that shit was fixed but reading steam reviews it seems it may have never gotten fixed.
