VR Thread

Assuming it's not total shit I'm probably gonna nab an Index for VR when it comes out, but I want to know some more games that I should look into getting when I get it. I already know I wanna try out Beat Saber and Superhot VR, any other suggestions? Also general VR thread

Just downloaded the Solus project and it looks pretty good so far.

But I can't get the height setting to work and I always look like a giant in game.
Neither the SteamVR advance setting Floorfix or the WMR floor setting works.

I currently got a vive, If index does indeed have an FOV increase, I might bite.

I will be buying a Quest at the end of this month too.

Overload is great, as is Pavlov.

vr games are just indie shovel w-

>Oculus exclusive
Id's shid

play it with Revive like all the other exclusives

You're still supporting facebook though.

This looks fucking sick.

I thought Revive was disabled.

Stromland PSVR never ever. Feels fucking awful, actually.

Has there ever been a good Marvel VR game?

Here's some games that I feel are worth the money. Coming from someone who buys a lot of shovelware shit.
>Pavlov
>GORN
>TO THE TOP
>Contractors VR

What about Blades and Sorcery?

Forgetting someone?

I tried it when it first came out and I wasn't a fan of how slow it felt. Also the severe lack of content made me hard to justify playing it when there were other games to play. I refunded it.

I find it hilarious that we're on the turning point for VR threads now, where shitposters are starting to realize they can't just mindlessly shit on it forever and the number of people that own it/tried it out outnumber the people that either never touched it or went to bestbuy to test it so that they could nitpick any perceived slight they could find because they're full of spite because they can't afford it.
Even better when you get those people that are interested but are still angry at early adopters because they got to experience all the shit first, so they get jealous they didn't get to do shit like VRChat before it became shit

imagine posting and believing a Heaney chart

Got an Odyssey+ last week because they are on sale and I'm enjoying it for the most part. Biggest complaints are comfort, relying solely on the halo ring was a mistake but fortunately there are some good headstraps out there. The default cushion isn't that great either, there is light leakage but once you are focusing on the game it isn't too noticeable.

Odyssey+ definitely has some great visuals though, the screen door effect is nearly gone, though the sweet spot seems to be smaller than Vive (only other headset I've used) but I'm hoping the headstrap and new cushion help alleviate it.

Still going to pick up a Quest in May because I want the total wirelessness, and being able to easily show VR to people will be great.

What are some RTSes I should check out? I've played Brass Tactics and had fun, thinking of getting some other RTS games.

Now instead of VR deniers, we get HMD wars.

At least these people can argue the merits of their own hardware instead of posting the same uneducated nonsense for 2 years straight and justifying it because if you're not living like a destitute poorfag that can't buy luxury items you're "wasting money"

I dunno, experiencing VR for the first time at a better state than it was at the start doesn't seem too bad

Shinobu Project
shinobuproject.itch.io/game

You know, Nintendo would make fucking bank with Nintendogs VR.

Realistically, if you're in your early 20's and you were like fucking 18 when the first set released, I understand, you're young, you got none of your own money, it'd be retarded to buy it.
I'm talking about the people that actually think waiting 3 years for a resolution bump, and missing out on the early days of VRChat, Onward, and Bigscreen beta because they got better controllers?
Doesn't seem worth IMO, if you're going to mope about like 300$ over the course of 3 years, VR isn't something you should even think about buying anyway

Feel Real.

Tell me, VR anons, how did you feel the first time you looked down and saw you had tits?

I like the idea of a pc-free vr headset even with worse graphics and inside out tracking. However I absolutely hate closed systems, just give me something that runs on windows so that I can play both Steam and Oculus.

>how did you feel the first time you looked down and saw you had tits
Excuse me you fucking cretin, I play as a 14 year old, I had a frilly dress.

Blood Trail, if you like some ultra violence.

Shock at how big they looked compared to the mirror in game, a really fucking weird feeling I can't explain, and a slight tingle in my dick.

I set up a mirror.

Looks fun. Does anyone even play it?

I could see melee weapons being introduced here, and you would wield them ala-pacific rim style. Would be pretty neat.

>psvr
into the trash it goes

It's still early access and a lot of good stuff is still to come. It's also VR optional so even non-VRs can play it too.

Haven't played this but Zone of the Enders 2 is fucking incredible in VR. It's fast as hell and a great example of a good VR port, the only downsides I can think are the cutscenes are flat, including ingame ones. Definitely one of my favorite VR ports in awhile next to Skyrim VR.

Finally, a brap simulator

For me? It's Sairento.

You can set the spring/dampener values to get rid of the slow-feeling weapons, but yeah there isn't a ton of content at the moment.
Though they did just introduce physic-based climbing so you can use a spear as a pogostick and put an axe in a suspended cage as a swing. It's good for a few fuck-around sessions.

>so even non-VRs can play it too.
Yuck. Normies should be banned. pancakes have a big advantage and shouldn't be allowed

Ah come on. The non-VR normies can be the first wave of meat shields though.

DESU, I feel I can aim better in VR than Mouse at close distances, I'm good at point shooting.
At the very least, I would fucking walk all over a controller/analog user.

Theres almost no content.

Unbreakable Gumball if you're looking for a Spiderman-like.

Honestly mouse niggers should get crosshair bloom for hipfire and VR should be 100% accurate since your wrist is doing the aiming
It's why most shooters for M+KB AREN'T pinpoint accurate, no need to balance VR aim, your arm isn't going to be able to accurately zip onto a guy's head from 100 yards away unless you're actually a fucking god

Kind of a long shot, but I remember this one vr headset that instead of having its image come from a screen it instead had it come from two tiny screen projectors and flashed the image directly onto your eyeball. This ringing anyones bells?

same fucking webms every thread

VR needs more bloody non-indie games.

I don't see you contributing a goddamn thing, you little shit.

>Live in Aus
>Facebook won't sell here in brick and mortar stores
>WMR prices are jacked up to the point they are the most expensive headsets here for some reason
>HTC vive is the only HMD readily avaliable
For what purpose?

Attached: thewizard.gif (718x404, 2.24M)

More than anything else, VR is important to have in Brick and mortar stores due to the fact that VR needs to be physically used to understand its greatness.

The way it should be, damn it!
